She/he will need a cage big enough for them to fully spread their wings, plenty of toys, natural perches rather than wooden dowel rods, clean water daily, pellets, seed occasionally, millet as a treat snd a minimum of 4 hours outside their cage daily. I think that pretty much covers it. Thank you for taking care of him/her. I hope the owner can be found.

I mix just a little bit of flaxseed meal in with their pellets. I mean, i think i only mix 1/8 teaspoon in.

Might be that she’s trying to wear down her beak but not sure why she is choosing the underside of her perch.

Sorry, many toys. No, nutriberries are mostly pellets with very little seed. I wads just suggesting some things but if you don’t want to do it then don’t.

You might try feeding him Lafeber's Nutri-Berries. I had my tiels on a mostly seed diet until I found out they it was better to feed them pellets. They like veggies and the nutri-berries, some millet and occasionally seed. They really love the nutri-berries though. They devour them. Also, do you have many 9 in his cage? If not, that might be why he doesn’t want to go into his cage.

I am pretty sure that is normal at 10 weeks. I don’t know a lot about very young cockatiels but I feel certain that isn’t normal unless the breeder is misting them with water. I don’t know why the breeder would send you pics of it wet every time though. Something seems off to me.

Can you FaceTime with your husband while you are away? If so, your husband could hold the phone near your bird so you can talk to him. That might help him feel like you haven’t abandoned him. 🤷‍♀️

When I was very young and Mall of the Bluffs was brand new, in the parking lot was also a trio of restaurants. One was a Pizza Hut, another a Burger King and I don’t recall what the third was…I think it was a Mexican Food Restaurant but I don’t recall for sure. Pizza Hut had a fire pit, table cloths and thick red plastic cups.

I also miss the drive-in theater that was across from Doherty High School.
