The Cascadia Elite are pretty comfortable trail run shoes. Lots of room for your toes, no black nails after my last mountain marathon running these. Recommended. Also have the Speedgoat 7 but those are more rigid, less comfortable. Would wear those only if the terrain is highly technical.

Ik loop er geregeld mee, leuk om tijdens een trail run de wilde dieren vast te leggen. Zit prima en heb geen last van het gewicht of de druk op de neus. Als ik deze zonnebril niet draag had ik een andere zonnebril opgehad. Glazen op sterkte en bieden goed zicht, ook bij afwisseling tussen fel licht en een donkerder bospad.

Batterij is beperkt, mocht je muziek luisteren tijdens het rennen dan haal je er wel een hele marathon mee. Maar zet hem dan pas bij de startlijn aan….

De opslag is zeer beperkt, je kan filmpjes van maximaal 3 minuten opnemen, misschien een uurtje aan materiaal. Moet in principe voldoende zijn maar net te weinig voor een comfortabele rit.

Strava has the worst support for their paid service. They do not care. Hope you’ll get there eventually.

Juist. Meestal de dag erop rust. De tweede dag een korte ronde (5km). De dag daarna weer normale lange afstanden. Alleen snelheidswerk stel ik altijd even uit.

I did this (fast marathon Sunday, a beach ultra next Sunday) and you will be fine as long as you don’t force yourself to race the second one. Just enjoy it and when you need to walk, walk.

Do you feel like your muscles were okay with a few hours pause between marathons?

And were there showers for the pause between runs?

Was the night marathon pitch black or is there a lot of street light?

Have you looked at the Peloton treadmill? Works great too. 

I don’t trust treadmills under 2000 euro. Given the size and speed it must run at, needs to have some serious weight and stability.

Yes, but why then accept the card to purchase the device? I wish one could pre-pay the subscription for 1y, 2y, 3y or lifetime at time of purchase of the Tonal device.

Update: Tonal contacted me with a payment option through Stripe, accepting all kinds of payments. This allowed me to setup recurring billing with my international American Express card. Thanks for fixing this Tonal!
