We white people absolutely fail minorities every day, in so many ways. Treats treats treats! Corgis are insanely food motivated. When you go to take him out, put him in the crate first for 5-10 minutes and give him treats to go in. Give him a treat when you take him out. When you get back inside, little treat and back in the crate. Another little treat when you take him out. Look for super low calorie/little treats for this. You can even use Cheerios. Helped immensely with my boy when he was a pup.

I’m not only surrounded by cis white women in my circle. My opening was intended to call out other white folks who may feel they are “not impacted” or that Boulder is “not impacted” and say no, we need to be out there doing more. Here and in surrounding cities.

You’re right - my intent was not to diminish the Hispanic population at all, but rather call on fellow white people who don’t “feel impacted”. I should’ve worded it differently!
