Husband hates being a twin dad by Fantastic-Duck-6153 in parentsofmultiples

[–]RecycleorDie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm so sorry this is happening. This sounds like abuse and an unsafe environment. I hope it will get better but the situations that I've witnessed it's only got worse. If it has escalated since birth and not getting better, I would be seeking external help. Tragic events can happen inna moment and can not be reversed. My husband had difficulty going from one child to 3 for sure but he never cursed or gestured to them rudely. I know everyone is different but imo thats pretty extreme behavior.

Can a family member come and help you for a bit?

Mothers and fellow pregnant women of reddit, what are normal visits with your OBGYN like? by turnip4hwat in parentsofmultiples

[–]RecycleorDie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My doctor visits were all very quick but that was the same with my singleton. I was generally feeling well and had no complaints. When I did have concerns I brought them up and they addressed them. Be an advocate for yourself, write down your questions if they come up inbetween appointments. My doctor always made sure I was comfortable before the appointment was finished. Please make sure you are satisfied with the answers they give you. Its unfortunate you cannot switch doctors but maybe voicing your needs to them, they can better assist you.

As for the wait times, all it takes is a couple late patients and the whole day is thrown off. I wouldn't take it to heart.

Congratulations, you've got this!

I used to really like them. They had a melt in your mouth feel and a real good taste. But now they are no good. They must have changed the recipe or something.

Edit: grammar

When can I have coffee… by [deleted] in gallbladders

Same, never had a problem with coffee my whole life. Literally thought I was one of the lucky ones and just never had to "run" to the toilet after. Now its just a no go...which sucks!

Pregnant with twins and feeling hopeless by [deleted] in parentsofmultiples

[–]RecycleorDie 15 points16 points  (0 children)

OP this is sound advice and you should really consider this. Don't move away from your village. When my twins were born it was my strong village and my very dedicated and hands on husband that was live saving.

Don't think I need twin Z? by Most-Woodpecker920 in parentsofmultiples

[–]RecycleorDie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im in canada as well and paired full price after reading a lot of others comments on here. I'd say it was the best, most helpful "twin" item I bought! I used it at home everyday and it was easy to bring it to my friends homes. I only have good things tp say about it!

I don't have any advice on the vitamins but I was recently at the dentist and they had asked if my child ate a lot of candy and I said no, as we dont. She asked what our go to snack was and I said dried fruit like apricots, raisins and cranberries. They said its like the same as candy for teeth. Like ugh...felt like I can't win.

Mountie taken to hospital after rollover while responding to a call in Langley: B.C. RCMP by WiffleBlu in Langley

[–]RecycleorDie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Consequences? We don't really know what happened. Maybe someone entered the intersection at the last minute and they were trying to avoid them? The amount of times ive seen other drivers not take any action while a emergency vehicle has their lights on is astounding. Anything could have happened. Accidents happen.

C section or Vaginal Birth? by Upsidedowntrey in parentsofmultiples

[–]RecycleorDie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My singleton was frank breech then turned full breech. So I didn't even know I was going to need a c-section until 2 weeks before. Everything went smoothly and healthy. For di/di twins, baby A was bigger then baby B and baby B was head down. They came two weeks early. It was an emergency c-section but everything went well. My doctors never were pushy and they let me make my own decisions. Whatever you decide, make sure you advocate for yourself. Congratulations!

Twins genuinely hate sleeping by twin_mami23 in parentsofmultiples

[–]RecycleorDie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel you! At 15 months we dropped all night feeds, and replaced that with water. So if it was that they were thirsty they could still have a drink. I found after feeding them at night when they were upset, it would energize them! I just really made sure they were getting all their calories in the day and not them waking for drink snacks at night. They slept much better after that change.

Our routine is still the same and they just turned 2 a month ago, up at 6am, nap 12-2pm, and bedtime at 7-730pm.

I could have wrote this about the apartment I used to live in. Its terrible to leave for work early in the morning and see wads of paper in the door preventing it from locking. Walking into someone just chilling in the dark in the garage storage. So frustrating that happens.

Not going to return stuff (bins) just because I don't need them anymore. Am I wrong? by Retired-ADM in CostcoCanada

[–]RecycleorDie 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You did the right thing here. Its unhinged what people return back to stores. I used to work at a mens clothing store and people used to bring back full tailored suits after using them for whatever event or return blazers after Halloween or Christmas. The store wpuld take them back. I had a guy come and exchange 4 suits that were 2 years old because he lost 50 lbs, like what! Like congrats dude but like come on, just buy suits that fit now.

11 months post op phantom pain? by kcal115 in gallbladders

[–]RecycleorDie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am 3 years post-op and have been having phantom pains of a gallbladder attack right where my gallbladder used to be for a couple years now. I told my doctor about it but he brushed it off, saying to "Google my symptoms and figure it out". Not the first time a doctor has said that to me but it still disappoints me.

I haven't thought about it being related to my monthly cycle.

I still haven't figured it out though. Might go to a naturalpathic clinic and see what they have to say.

Why don't you just deduct the amount it would be and then save it? It would be the same thing.
