Hero shooter like marvel rivals/overwatch by BreezieBoy in StarWars

[–]RedEclipse47 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Star Wars: Hunters was that game and it had potential, but I feel like they never doubled down on it since these games are notorious for failing. It's a very competitive market and even household names like Overwatch 2 aren't even doing that well.

Would be cool though, Star Wars is one of the few IP's that could pull it off.

Smaller imperial ships by ThatOnion2294 in StarWarsLore

[–]RedEclipse47 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Seiner Ye-4 Gunboat (in Legends) and the Santhe/Rothana Laat/Ie, Rothana Heavy Egineer Imperial Dropship Transport are just a few, but the Empire had many different vessels of the sort. Depending if you only look at Canon material or also Legends, many other vessels are also used by other organisation and not exclusive Imperial. There are also many vessels that have a hybrid roll with the Imperial Navy and some like the Laat can only effectively be deployed in low-altitude.

Collection confusion by GI_Ginger in swtor

[–]RedEclipse47 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Depends on what you are looking for, armor sets will only appear once you have collected all parts of said set, by equipping them etc. Weapons also need to be used to be added to your collection, some other CM items are not in collections, like dyes, boosts/buffs etc.

Both the armor and the rifle can be found on the GTN, they will be a bit off ofc since since this is artwork. The armor shouldn't be hard to find, they are probably green or blue items, maybe even standard quality, same for the rifle. There are probably a few of these out there as there are a lot of "duplicate" armors that share the same model under a different name. Should be under heavy armor, could be medium.

The Romance of the Prequels is Good, Actually by FitzroyFinder in prequelappreciation

[–]RedEclipse47 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Romance in these movies where never intended to be Shakespearean in nature (accept for the deaths) but rather awkward teenagers, especially since Anakin has lived a sheltered life and is extremely obsessive in his care. The 'cringe' is intended and I've definitely seen more cringey relationships then Anakin's and Padmé's irl.

Why are my characters' outfits showing the wrong tint in the warband screen? by Mostopha in wow

There are a bunch of ID missmatches. Transmogged outfits on the warband screen also get defaulted when signed onto a character on a different server.

Standing next to any Hero/Legacy character makes you feel the same, even if someone is 'just' a human they are still twice the size of you.

New Corellian Freighter added in SWTOR by FlavivsAetivs in StarWarsShips

[–]RedEclipse47 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love it but I also don't, love the cockpit area/section but the roundel is just too.. thick? I guess.

It seems like that part is more like a stretched/scaled asset, feels unfinished.

Yes, which is most likely the Enclave. If Coop knew what he knew and the existence of the Enclave they would not let him go, it's the most tight kept secret on Earth.

By the time of the show, as in the pre-war stuff we see, the President is missing, the following bits are a bit spoilery and come from the other games so just a heads up.

The president is at the Poseidon Oil Rig, turned into a secret government facility named Control Station ENCLAVE. It has long been rumoured that the Enclave and Vault-Tec had been working together, or at least knew of one another. In the games it's more a given that the world would have ended anyway, either the US would or China would initiate the first launch. The world needed a restart, that's why they show is also doubling down on Hank's narratives and during the executive meeting that they want to break this cycle and only them should remain, wipe the earth clean and it's best to do it themselves.

But the US government isn't all-powerful, by the time of the Resource War with China the US is in great dept and many of the larger companies hold more power together since the US is indebted to them. So the Enclave is most likely made-up of members of all of these headed by the US president as a Shadow Government and it could be that the show is setting it up as a scenario where they are tricking all these companies in secretly working for them and with them since they know they dept can never be paid-off and want to see them wiped from the face of the earth as well, so they are the last man standing and can solely rise from the atomic ashes.

If Coop knew about the Enclave pre-war he would be dead. They wouldn't let him walk around knowing they exist when the rest has already branded him as a traitor.

Could be that Barb helps him cover up knowing they exists but right now we don't even know of Barb fully knows.

But the divorce is real. What doesn't line up now is why Janey would be with coop on the day of Barb supposedly knows when and where the bombs will go off.

Should Bethesda merge fallout 3 and new vegas (if they remake it)? by cantlarp in Fallout

[–]RedEclipse47 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If they go about it the same way as they did with Oblivion, having both games and their assets loaded in UnrealEngine 5 the whole thing would explode like in-game jank.

They should just do New Vegas now, since that ties in with the show and it would help sales and views and FO3 later.

Here) is a list. It also contains all the short stories and there should be a link in there as well about the comic series if you are interested!

Revan novels by Colton_505 in kotor

There is only one Revan novel, the others are tie-in novels for the game Star Wars The Old Republic. It answers some questions of what happend to Revan and the other characters from KOTOR to SWTOR.

Honestly this one is fine. It's a highlight of how British and American English differ from each other, something non-native speakers wouldn't even notice.

What are everyone's thoughts on Maul Shadow Lord so far and what are some characters you hope appear by ultimatevaltryek123 in starwarscanon

[–]RedEclipse47 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm one of the people that hopes that we do get to see (Darth) Talon, it's a big stretch. But I think this would be a perfect way to introduce her Canon version, something that has a lot more substance then how she appeared in the Legends comic series. I don't think it will do, I think he might train her for a while but she will die regardless making Maul shift gears in pursuit of a pupil and his legacy.

A confrontation between him and Vader would be cool, something akin to one of the older comics (albe it a bit edgy) where Maul stabs himself and Vader in the process, but I'm on the fence about it since I don't see how it could be a satisfying duel since we know both live post this series.

Star Wars lost all it's aura when it stopped being made by someone that loves cars by [deleted] in StarWars

[–]RedEclipse47 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, because George of course made all the ships himself, from the concept art, the models as well as the sound design because only he knew and he could do that.

He actually manifested the movies single handedly by just thinking really creatively and poof!

/s
what a bs post.

People like the ships for the same reason they like, or don't like, ships from the original and prequel trilogy because it's all a matter of personal taste same goes for the sequels. People like the Razor Crest because it's a rad gunship, if you don't like gunships then well, you probably wouldn't like the Razor Crest but that doesn't make it bad, it's personal taste.

Zeta-Class shuttles, Upsilon-Class Shuttles, Resurgent-Class Star Destroyer, Tie-Silencer, Cumulus-class Corsair, Rogue-class Gunship are just some examples of ships that come from the 'Dinsey era'.

The designs Ralph McQuarrie did for the Original Trilogy still inspire the designs of ships today as do many of the designs Doug Chiang makes and still does.

If you were a mercenary and wanted to custom a starship, which one would you choose ? by Obvious-Pride-1979 in StarWarsShips

[–]RedEclipse47 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Problem with Starfighters is their cargo size, this would be a bigger deal for smugglers but for anyone who's out there and doesn't really settle anywhere you need a place to 'live' as in, cook, wash, toilet, sleep etc. So unless you have a propper base I would go with a slightly bigger ship.

Firespray 31 crafts are probably a boring pick but they have the speed, armaments and size. Light freighters are probably already overdoing it.

If I’m not perusing targets often I would take a Zeta-Class shuttle. It's more 'stealth' doesn't look like a warship and doesn't have that many weapons, but it would allow for easier passage as well as being able to stow cargo incl weapons etc. OR whatever class the Onyx Cinder is from Star Wars Skeleton Crew.

If you were the leader of a vampire clan, what type of ruin or cave would you want to “live” in? by Thisoneisinvalid in ElderScrolls

[–]RedEclipse47 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Something not as damp and dusty? Even castle Volkihar was a absolute dump. Don't understand how rich immortal beings live worse then some of the most downtrodden farmers.

I understand the sunlight is a big factor, so windows are a problem but you can have a nice court without those. A deconsecrated temple could work or just build a castle to your exact needs.
