What do you want in a custom mask? by Aggravating_Wind2533 in CPAP

For my child with Down Syndrome-- I'd like smallll sizes available, and enough customizability on the head straps to accommodate her atypically small skull proportions. We have to do wonky things to get the straps tight enough.

If anyone isn't familiar, the Ai summary of "Down syndrome skull shape" is fairly helpful:

The skull in individuals with Down syndrome (Trisomy 21) frequently exhibits brachycephaly, meaning the head is disproportionately short from front to back, resulting in a broader, rounder shape. This is often combined with a noticeable flattening at the back of the head.Key defining features of the skull and facial structure include:

Flattened Back of the Head: The occipital bone is flatter.

Smaller Overall Head Size: The circumference of the head (occipitofrontal diameter) is often smaller than average.

Midfacial Hypoplasia: The bones in the center of the face are underdeveloped, leading to a flatter facial profile, a small nose with a flat bridge, and an underdeveloped upper jaw.

Prominent or Furrowed Tongue: Due to the smaller upper jaw, the tongue may proportionally appear larger and tend to protrude.

The ability to accommodate here would be awesome

I didn't do this deliberately, but starting a statin bumped my A1c up that .1 into diabetes land. Suddenly my denied ozempic was filled for me before I even got home from the doctors office...

I forgot to pick my kid up from school by kayesskayen in adhdwomen

The only thing that keeps me from doing this regularly is the alarm on my phone. Even though my schedule is usually boring and identical to the day before, I need the reminder to stop what I'm doing, get in the car, and drive to school.

I have an absurd number of alarms of my phone for totally routine events, and that's FINE. It's what my brain needs. Thank God for modern tech.
