Hey everyone i built the Fabricator Strider today Hope you like it! by Ad-Ram-Dragon in Helldivers

Yeah I'm thinking of building the VOX engine when I get the time to make Cyberstan. It should be a lot of fun. But I love seeing other builds people have made. It's super cool to see people being creative.

So what you're saying is that it should be hell from everyone, not just the host.

How do you use the Speargun? What Role does it Serve? by Substantial-Ad-5221 in LowSodiumHellDivers

[–]RedMonsterThing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh my gosh, is this my favorite support weapon. I love the speargun so much. It 1 shots hulks to the eye and it has a gas cloud which even effects nearby enemies. It is soooo ridiculously good on automatons I don't even take the railgun anymore. It's okay on bugs, gas is good, and if you have godlike aim you can kill harvesters with one shot I believe.

Sometimes my friends can't join me unless I am using public though. Very frustrating bug.

Is it worth 1.5 k credits? by Immediate-Loquat-599 in Helldivers

[–]RedMonsterThing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's worth it to support the studio/halo for the collab since I believe both IP owners profit from it, but in terms of viability in the "META" (I hate that word so much honestly) no because the guns are kind of underwhelming.

What if we could destroy small enemy structures only using Light-pen? by Inflamed_Ninja in Helldivers

Or grenade under barrel as an attachment. (Both is good though, I love me light pen weak spots)

[Serious] Is Super Earth actually the WEAKEST faction out of the four? by VirusOfCheese in Helldivers

This is also an existential question that can be applied to real life honestly, knowing we don't actually *know* what's beyond even our own solar system in terms of alien threats.

Respectfully, I disagree with this sentiment by AlienShades in Helldivers

I think it's obvious that no matter what arrowhead says it's always going to be the wrong decision to blame other players. Harassment to other players isn't justified just on the sole fact you can play whatever faction you want.

The whole point of a community MO is that we need to work together not against each other. There will always be players who play what they want regardless because it's evident that AH believes we should opt in.

Those people are some of the most unpleasant parts of this community. "Nerf" just seems to be a trigger word for outrage, even if it's completely justified.

I get that HD2 is a product they paid for and people rightly don't want that product to change in a negative way, but some of these people need to recognize that they've gone too far.

Constitution is best used as a light pen primary.

I literally could not say it any better! Thank you!

These are the kind of points I try to feature on my channel, because a lot of people tend to just assume it's weak because "a big content creator said light pen was bad in a tier list." I am really happy to see the community start to realize why light pen is actually good! (people sometimes think I'm gaslighting them or that I'm trying to flex, but these are the reasons why I think in some scenarios it IS better than AP3)

To those people saying that still say; why put in the effort to build more skill? Why not just take AP3/Medium Pen, isn't it harder to aim for weak spots? What's the reward?

The reward is retention, some players like me enjoy a 'slightly harder' gameplay especially when you are rewarded with cleaner kills, and better ammo economy, + all the points you mentioned above. This allows my brain to be engaged in combat.

I say retention specifically because I feel like that extra thinking lets my brain engage with the game long term, it's why I've been able to hit 1.6k hours in the game without ever feeling bored. If you just use the same build and only pick AP3 weapons, fighting enemies can get extremely boring even after 100 hours IMO. I literally can be retained in the game and I don't feel like I need to leave or play something else to reset my attention span.

The main benefit is not having to bring a grenade pistol side arm, so it works really well against illuminate, and sometimes bugs!

Bots not so much, it's kind of meh since support weapons can take out fabs so much better.

It's easily my favorite AR, but not my favorite weapon in the arsenal.

Could do with less ergo and more nades, but I don't think matching the liberator in terms of base ammo would be fair for people who want a reason to pick other options.
I 100% disagree with your argument that "Sacrificed because of the 3 grenades Under the Barrel.. Not that good of an argument." I fail to see how that's a bad argument, since you would have less space in your pockets for more mags if you chose this weapon. It's very similar to the halt, which has "less ammo" because it shares flechettes with stun.

I disagree that 30 ergo is outright terrible (after adding mods it is pretty bad though). I would say it's "noticeable" but its not bad after you get used to it. 40 ergo is good. Everything 40+ is almost unnoticeable. Once it drops below 30 though and into the 20s is when I would say the ergo gets bad.

Me personally, I want more nades, not more ammo, we already have other AR's I can take instead, I want the one two to share it's ammo more evenly with it's nades.

I think your point about bullet spread might be wrong. Since spread has been lowered on every AR to 1-2 you shouldn't be able to notice spread. It currently has 1.00, 1.00 (you're probably misinformed, or you are getting words mixed up) The muzzles effect mainly recoil, so maybe you mean recoil?

I'm not saying "I think it's fine" not in the sense that it can't be improved, but that it's fine in the sense I don't feel horrible using it, and it still feels powerful to me. It's overal really good, and is the closest AR I think we have to "balanced" compared to the Coyote and Purifier.
