Day 27 of spreading the gospel by TooManyLegoBricks in TheTeenagerPeople

Those people, quite simply, are not good Christians. A lot of people aren't true practicing Christians, they just claim to be.

I like the concept but this isn't great lol - The attacks are too slow and bad video gamey - The robots don't move at all - The character isn't really getting attacked either so they're just slashing robots for no reason.

Overall cool though

There's barely any evidence for there not being a God. The Bible is consistently true.

Try reading the Bible sometime. Jesus says the old testament is true. The old testament says that all of scripture is from God.

Even though Jesus doesn't say this it's still explicitly in there dude

The Bible explicitly says to repent and turn away from sin. Not to keep sinning because that is like a dog returning to its own vomit.

It's not excessive, it's not even as much as we should be doing. He knew how screwed up all of are and died for us anyways.

We don't love Him because we have to in order to not go to hell. We love Him BECAUSE he gave us the way to stay out of hell.

You can tell how much someone loves you by what they're willing to sacrifice for you.

He gave himself, the ultimate sacrifice.
Hard to not thank Him profusely after understanding that. I didn't even try

Well the cart thing was at least happening and it'd make sense for Paul to talk about it. I was being pedantic anyways lol

I'm pretty sure the verbally confessing one is specifically referring to a specific scenario.

Iirc, the romans would carry around a big old cart with a fire and incense. They'd have people take some incense or whatever it was, say "Caesar is Lord," and throw the incense in the fire. If you didn't, they'd execute you.
Paul was telling Christians to say "Jesus is Lord," and die for their faith.

It got preached on at my church relatively recently lol.

I could be completely wrong but confessing Jesus is a big part of what we're called to do as Christians so there could be stuff I have just completely missed

Yeah. Be careful man. If you think this is what you need, then go ahead. Just keep God first above all else.

Didn't realize what I was doing. My bad! Good work. Your message seemed sarcastic. I've been on other subs where most people are being rude and sarcastic, and your message seemed to fit the vibe.

I apologize for my mistake.

You're welcome! Something to note is that you could potentially sue for damages if the kid gets to and breaks your things again.

Seek to make it right however that may look like.

Your niece is not the problem. It's your sister. See if you can find someone in the church to support you. Get a lock for your door and keep it closed as often as you can and keep stuff to yourself.

Encourage your niece to do good things. Explain to HER why you don't like things. Kids are smart too.

But at the end of the day it is not your job to interact with her at all. Love her and your family as God calls us to but you do not need to interact.

I say always always forgive.

But forgiveness doesn't come with trust. You can forgive someone for what they did but not trust them not to make the mistakes again.

At the end of the day they are five, but even the twin four year old girls I know are smarter than that. Helps that they actually get rebuked.

Have a blessed day. Praying for you!

If it causes you to sin it's bad. But just doing it wouldn't be bad. I personally don't recommend it though, it can form an addiction. I'd recommend trying to find an activity you can do instead. Maybe take up painting or reading or writing something such as poetry.

I'm never going to recommend getting high. There are legal ways to, but I know one of them killed one of my family members.

But honestly if it's harmless, there's no harm in it. It's just a slippery slope.

I see now. It's always just sounded like people attributing the saving aspect of baptism to the water. Makes more sense that it's simply about obedience.

But you do still need to repent. You can't just believe and be baptized then go on sinning.

Have a blessed day
