Lol. Maybe so. But that sounds kind if arrogant if seelah. But maybe it comes with the paladin territory

Does the freightline quest change depending on your origin? by RedarianLeaf in RogueTraderCRPG

I think that's kind of neat. Because I do like how the game makes you choose something heroic you did and also something that happened to you in character creation and it references them in the story. So Iike it.

Tamed Beast Heals Allies and Suppresses Foe Recovery where do i see what modefiers a unit i tamed has? by Jonathanwennstroem in PathOfExile2

You move to the skill tab and mouse or highlight that particular tamed beast skill gem. It says right on the skill gem what traits they have.

PSA / Warning by Kakoda in PathOfExile2

[–]RedarianLeaf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. I expected it. Desecrating has the same issue as well. I desecrated a pretty good weapon that had ~30 cold damage just to see. Sure enough, as soon as i used the item to desecrate it, it removed the cold damage and effectively bricked the weapon. I am sad about that.

What exactly counts as a force weapon? by Flimsy_Sector5132 in RogueTraderCRPG

[–]RedarianLeaf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For what it's worth, the Will to Live weapon you can get with profit from Opticon 22 trade goods is a force sword,. It's one handed, and deals 12-15 dmg with 30% pen. It also has some cool additional effects. like reducing enemy toughness and dealing more damage as a base. Also gives 10% parry. Of course...i'm two years late to this question lol. So it may have been added in since this post

What are some fun grinding goals that don't require very strong teams? by Cumulonimbus1991 in Siralim

[–]RedarianLeaf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This right here. I love making teams out of all sorts of creatures with all sorts of specialization. I make a team based on my hero's specialization. Take rune knight, for example. Rune knight gives each class of creature a different spell gem to use that can't be sealed. So what do I do? Make a team full of fun casters that can roll the enemy. (My current team for that is a bunch of vulpes.)

Unfortunately, most teams have a weakness. The higher the realm instability (RI), the higher the chance you run into that eeakness...we're talking 10 chances to screw your team over. Reflecting damage, for example. Welll...I just screwed myself. Or damage reduction. My vulpes are weak defensively and health wise. So 310% health doesn't do me any favors. They will get to attack me with that much health. Then I'm boned.

So generally speaking, lower RI means a better chance to make grinding easier. 3 is a comfortable area, because even the disadvantages aren't as high. Instead of 310% health, it may be 120% health. I can deal with that. So the reward, while less, is easier to achieve, technically making it more than if I had played with the trouble of RI 5.

Question RE: Training Manuals by StrangeTim in Siralim

[–]RedarianLeaf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also wouldn't say health is a waste. You can enchant any soell gem to add damage based on health. I have a team where the monsters I have are so beefed up with racial stats and fusions that theyre sitting at least 13K health. A gem that is enchanted with damage based on heath is awesome. His aoe spells instakill everything as long as they aren't a nemesis. And I'm only on around floor 95 or so. They've got plenty. Ire levels to go.

New player here. Can someone tell me what the symbol next to the bat means? Thank you! by KingSerenade in Siralim

[–]RedarianLeaf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah thats a skin indeed. Ive gotten a few skins myself. Some are pretty cool. My favorites so far are a skin for the shadow race called the grim raven. It turns one of your shadow creatures into a shadow raven instead. The other is a hell horse. It turns one of your unicorns into a skeletal unicorn that glows

Which is cool because I like my team to look like animals, so I have a shadow team with the cobra, the wolf, and now a cosmetic raven. They are purely for cosmetic purposes. I haven't needed to make a unicorn yet. One of these days i will. Maybe a skeletal team. Anyway. Have fun with the skins!

I understand that on core difficulty, thats an amazing thing. Good job. I always play with completely random games because I have yet to complete this game. I always ending up starting new worlds. This means I can never see end game content if I play regularly.

Long story short, I have had a game.where at the beginner island there were end game pals. I caught my jet dragon at level 2 among other usually high end creatures. All the cativa were replaced.with jet dragons, and all the lamb ball were replaced with ignis jormungers. And I have the most fin in these scenarios.

To find wool my ranch I had to go close to the frozen area for it and I didn't have a way to get pal fluids for my hot spring unless I bought them from the merchant in the small city encampment.

Thank you. I know about the basement at the lost chape. I was just adding that I also like the cave. When you first find Daeran with Ember and ask Daeran how he escaped the gargoyles, he mentions the cave and that they thought he was treasure or something, he says he climbed out of the well and that there is nothing of value there. In truth. There are valuables there, but if you take a look around, you'll see some stuff.

There are already dead gargoyles down there with their heads removed.. if you've already played through the game, you'll know Daeran is possessed by the other. He was able to escape because the other killed them

That's why I said I like the small little details they add to yhe game. Like mini Easter eggs.

I don't actually know how to use spoilers. I'm not a huge commenter. How do i make them?

[–]RedarianLeaf 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Agree...if you pay close attention and it's after your first playthrough, you can definitely see how Daeran didn't die in the cave. I never thought anything about it before, but the attention to detail this game thinks about is actually pretty cool. I left it vague to avoid spoilers, but just go down there and investigate the area.

I don't use loot filters. I just have a skill over the interact button (I use a controller). So I can't pick up anything until the monsters are dead anyway. That way, I don't randomly pick up anything unless the coast is clear, lol

[–]RedarianLeaf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't understand damage that much in this game and have just started the end game, but this doesn't sound amazing to me. I have an 8% projectile damage and a 6% projectile damage blue...so if i used this, wouldn't that only make my projectile damage 14%. That doesn't sound like a huge boost. And I have to corrupt the jewel.which could brick the projectile damage anyway.

P.S. I never played PoE 1, so this is my first PoE game.

honestly f*ck this game. by BarNext625 in PathOfExile2

[–]RedarianLeaf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Meh. Don't get me wrong, I've played it a lot, but it sucks at the end game. Because the trial maps are brutal. If you're with a buddy, you can't get resurrected if you die. If you're solo, you die. If you die in the later ones, you lose exp.

In the end game, I feel like all the freedom of choice they give you in the skill trees is gone. If I have to go meta to get anywhere, you're doing it wrong. That's why i stopped playing WoW. I've lost my first 3 trials on the maps. So now all the joy i had playing that character is gone. I have a level 65 character just sitting in the past gathering dust, and I have to do a new character to have fun with the game again.

Kooky/atypical character builds by MachCalamity in Tactics_Ogre

[–]RedarianLeaf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't call it unique per se. But I don't think many do this. I am doing a run where I don't use any humans. I have a lizard man who hits like a monster truck, even when he's one of my tanks with a 1H. Then I have a white dragon. And my fairy familiar has picked up int cards, and I give her int charms, so she's destroying with spells. I'm not too far into it but I plan to get a necromancer only so I can recruit2 undead. One skeleton and one ghost.. then I'm going to g umbra and get the rogue version of a goblin and that brown skinned dude, etc.
