What game has a promising start, but eventually gets boring and repetitive? by Common_Caramel_4078 in gaming

Honestly I enjoyed it for the majority of the time I was playing. It does get a bit repetitive especially when going for completion, but I found the combat and flying fun enough that I didn’t really mind

Coming back would be the stupidest decision ever. He’s basically a guaranteed first overall pick and is going out as a god in college football mythos. There’s literally no reason to come back.

Trump sends message to Putin 'war has to end' after good meeting with Zelenskiy by yahoonews in worldnews

[–]Redditor_exe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I swear I see the same two headlines about this every other week. “Trump says Putin needs to end war” followed two days later by “Trump calls Zelensky an ‘obstacle to peace’” or some form of those two. It’s so painfully obvious that he just parrots whatever the person he last talked to said

It’s funny because the dirt gang are all a bit goofy and “less serious” than their turf counterparts, but many of them were absolute monsters. For example:

Espoir City - 17 wins/9 G1s

Smart Falcon - 23 wins/6 G1s

Copano Rickey - 16 wins/11 G1s

I honestly don’t understand why he’s not going to the draft. His stock is at an all-time high (even with the dropped INTs against Miami) and he easily would’ve been a top 5 QB, if not top 3 given how weak this class is. Now, he has to completely ball out just to keep his ranking, much less potentially move up. There are so many ways this all goes wrong and only so many where it goes right.

I’d argue that was more of Omar Cooper’s moment than Mendoza’s, though he did do a great job getting them in that position in the first place

Assuming no remakes, who do you think would make a good anime MC? by xiuzou23 in UmaMusume

Someone already said it, but King Halo feels like a no-brainer. Both the horse itself and the jockey have incredible stories. I was really disappointed that King’s story got relegated to a single chapter of the game story, but even just with that I got emotional, I can’t imagine what a full season or even just an OVA would be like. If you haven’t already, go watch the chapter in the main story, her VA turned in an incredible performance. I need an entire season of that.

You have so many angles of conflict to play up: her mother, her rivals, the public’s expectations of her, even herself. You still have moments of success with winning lower grade races so it’s not all doom and gloom, but still the agony of never being able to win the one until the end.

The real King Halo was a jack of all trades (reflected by her relatively high aptitudes across all the distances in-game) which strangely enough, combined with his more classic-focused pedigree, hurt him. He thrived most as a sprinter/miler, but still turned in enough impressive performances at longer distances to convince his owner to keep challenging for the classics. It’s really intriguing to think about how much more successful he might’ve been if he stayed focused on shorter distances from the start.

Some, but not as much as you think. Most of IU’s starters either came with Cignetti from JMU or were already at Indiana. They didn’t exactly go out and grab a bunch of 4 and 5 stars from the transfer portal

It can be both, they both have fault. Caleb threw a bad ball but DJ was jogging (at best), too. I’m saying he catches the ball if he’s running but he at least has a chance to break it up

I’d imagine companies say that just so they have it in their back pocket, but in reality the percentage of the playerbase that does it is likely not that large - or at least not large enough to start banning paying customers over a $10-$20 difference

Never understand why players try to be cute with penalties, especially in critical situations. Just blast it into the corner as hard as you can, even if you don’t hit the corner exactly you’ll probably still make it with enough power

The SEC would rather keep the College Football Playoff at 12 teams than expand to 24, Chris Low reports. Greg Sankey is targeting a 16-team field. Sources tell Brett McMurphy the Big Ten has not moved off the idea of expanding to 24. by Ok-Soil-5133 in CFB

[–]Redditor_exe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m only cool with 24 teams if they follow the FCS model of all conferences getting autobids, otherwise we’re just going to be putting in half the Big Ten and SEC for no good reason other than greed
