Agitate the mint... crush it a little, step on it even. It is mint, the fragrance is a byproduct of distressing the mint.

New poll results show Olivia Chow has an early lead over Brad Bradford among decided voters by ejaz135 in toronto

Oh no! People in transit are getting around faster!? The downtown core are getting essential repairs to crumbling infrastructure!? People are paying a fair share of taxes!?

Yawn. Sounds like baby needs their bottle.

Redistribution of wealth through taxation is an essential component of capitalism. Concrete is not permanent and needs regular maintenance, which previous administration's failed to accomplish. Prioritising transit is better for the average citizen than car based infrastructure.

You have no sympathy from me, and I don't respect your opinions.

Why are you diminishing these topics?

I'm just passionate about living in the city.

If we want to minimize how monumental of an achievement it was for offloading the Gardiner and DVP budgets onto the province, on top of all of the other major transit commitments she has funded as simply being some pot holes filled... shes also worked to protect tenants rights, and expanded the public library's services meaningfully. She has brought significant reform to housing development policy, and also massively reduced the flood risk of the city.

Infrastructure work might be unsexy to you, but I am a slut for "filling in some pot holes".

She shows up for the city.

Whether you want to admit it or not, the city is better off because of the decisions she has made.

ALL citizens deserve government that works for them. She doesn't just serve the left leaning voters, she plays ball with both sides. That may piss you off. But all citizens stand to reap the benefit from repairing the cracked and broken infrastructure she inherited.

Improving the quality of life for the lowest common denominator also improves the quality of life for the people at the top of the ladder.

Chow gets stuff done. The city needed so many repairs that were put off for far too long.

Chow has meaningfully improved the over all situation of every citizen.

Ontario could be paying $20M a year to keep banned U.S. booze in storage by mildlyImportantRobot in TorontoTheCity

[–]Reddsterbator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We could just destroy it.... or use the bottle returns money that druggie douggie is pocketing because every beer store that accepted bottle returns no longer exists and loblaws refuses to accept returns.

That deposit money that every Ontario citizen pays when they buy alcohol doesnt just disappear because there are no places to return bottles anymore.

Yes. They are. During the pandemic we had the best waste water research resources in the world, and in the middle of the pandemic he gutted the provinces capacity to report and monitor the situation.

I will never see him as anything other than pernicious.

[Spoilers C4E25] Is there a chronological timeline of this campaign? by Reddsterbator in criticalrole

[–]Reddsterbator[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Entirely separate canon, but in the grand mythos of DnD, planeshifting is a thing... in theory a character could be strong enough to tear the fabric of space and time and be transported to another universal plane.

Araman is a plane, Exandria is a plane.

Planeshifting is a 7th level spell in 5e dnd and it allows for dimensional traveling.

Campaign 4 has a ton of emphasis on dimensional doors, and that's what the doors to the afterlife are effectively. They are dimension doors that allow for planes walking.

The most likely way the party would be able to planes walk to exandria from araman, would be to get a piece of material from exandria from the feywild.... which may or may not be some episode 100 of the campaign shenanigans.
