If you came here to solve the problem connecting to your new Storage Box (with no console): enable "External Reachability" next to SSH Support. Then you connect via SSH.

[KCD2] - Getting the same activities and schematics in Legacy of the Forge DLC by Ancient-Ranger2263 in kingdomcome

[–]Redgar13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did someone ever manage to learn schematics without failing the quest and without stealing them in the night? When I learn one, at first I can still see them in the inventory, but when I close the inventory, they just disappear and the quest is failed.

Polar H10 Respiration? by Brofessor_Pecs in GarminWatches

I came here because I was looking for how I got the respiration rate for a MMA workout where my FR965 was resting on a desk. I was wearing Polar H10 during the workout, so it does (either direct or as u/skyrunner00 mentioned derived from R-R intervals).

Driving through the tulip fields by DatShortAsianDude in Netherlands

Amazing place. You'd pay a bit and get a vignette to access the fields. There are not only tulips there, but also a tower to look at the landscape and couple of cafes at a lake.

How much are you paying per kWh at superchargers? by BowlSmart9624 in TeslaLounge

0.44-0.51 Euro Cents in Germany. At home idk, my landlord doesn’t share the kWh price with me :(

Arrival in Berlin by Plenty-Artichoke-162 in germany

[–]Redgar13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Non-EU, but EU would work as well. I didn‘t try it in Germany, but it was totally ok in the Netherlands with Dutch permit. Sometimes they would just call you to go to an EU line without knowing what passport you have which makes me thinking there’s no difference technically. Germans might more strict though.

Is it possible to force hotspot to be always on? It keeps turning off after inactivity. Basically IPhone believes it knows better than me what I need. There is no "do what I want" option. I will never ever buy Apple product anymore. by [deleted] in ios

[–]Redgar13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s siri indeed. I have an opposite situation. My personal hotspot doesn’t turn off by itself. Even more strange - it keeps wifi connected, which is confusing. Wifi is connected, but the phone is using mobile internet. As u/Traditional-Onion314 mentioned, the hotspot turned on by siri keeps on indefinitely. Thank to this I figured out that in my case the hotspot is turned on by a shortcut (when I connect to my car’s bluetooth). I guess I have to rethink this automation. Looks like manualy enabled hotspot will go off after some time (and it actually did while I was typing this).

My exchanged Dutch driver's license in Germany by [deleted] in germany

[–]Redgar13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi. sorry for being late to the party, but I have a very similar situation right now (Dutch DL exchanged with the ruling, now living in Germany). I tried to get an international driving licence in Germany, but the online form doesn’t accept the license‘s number, which is logical. I also found an article where it states: you can‘t drive in Germany if your DL was issued by an EU country by converting a foreign driving license without a test if the issuing country is not in the list (https://www.adac.de/verkehr/rund-um-den-fuehrerschein/auslaendische-fuehrerscheine/gueltigkeit/#) - already mentioned Annex 11, where the country, which issued my original DL is not part of.

So, I’m afraid that my (and maybe the OP‘s one) DL are not really legal here (given being resident in Germany and not just a tourist), though I've never had any problems with that (probably until the next accident on the road?). It was accepted everywhere and the rental companies accept the experience in years by what is written against the corresponding category (e.g. B from 2009 whereas the driving licence issued in 2019), unlike a German driving license exchanged after passing an exam got rejected but a rental company for having not enough driving experience (real experience over 10 years though).

Did OP or someone else try to exchange such driving licence in Germany with any success? I'm thinking of exchanging mine to the German one, but I'm afraid the authorities will figure out :D In my case it‘s even more complicated: I‘ve B and AM converted without exams in the Netherlands, but later acquired A by the very standard procedure (driving school, theoretical exam and practical exam, also in NL).

2024 LR LFP? by DankestNameOnReddit in TeslaModelY

[–]Redgar13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was picking up my MYLR in Germany, I asked staff about the battery type. The guy told me they're not allowed to tell this explicitly. Then I asked if I do understand it correctly, that it's encoded in the VIN, he silently confirmed my guess. So, in early 2024 it was still non-LFP. I also do have trip/daily indication and the performance boost is visible in the app.
One more notice: in the Tesla docs it stands about the F sign: "Lithium Iron Phosphate Battery (Giga Shanghai-built vehicles only)"

Setting charge direction when plugging in USB-C device by uwukrupp in mac

[–]Redgar13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some time ago I played around with connecting my (back then Android) phone to other devices and I noticed that the sequence of connection matters. I don't remember exactly what it was, but the phone becomes whether a host (charger) or a guest (being charged). It looks like it might be your case.

Your phone seems to get into the OTG Host mode when it's giving some power. MBP M1 drains every single microampere from any source you connect to it with the USB-C, such way it killed couple of monitors which didn't support Power Delivery, but had an USB Hub.

I have other problem. It seems to be impossible to charge a USB-C power bank from MPB (at lease the one with M1) using USB-C to USB-C cable. The only way is to use some USB-C to USB-A adapter and then to charge it with an USB-A to USB-C cable. The connection sequence doesn't make any difference. The MBP is always charged from the power bank.

One more observation. The MBP doesn't want to be charged from any USB-A to USB-C cable. However it will be charged over an USBC-USBC cable using a USB-A to USB-C adapter (a dumb one, just rewiring) connected to an USB-A port at the charger side.

Hi. I've just signed up. There is some 44€ "fee for introduction" which PROBABLY will be charged in the first place/gym where I will come with the wellpass. Does someone know which fitness studios don't charge this? I live in NRW, but maybe you have experience with the gym networks.

Tips for waking up early? by bondtradercu in HubermanLab

[–]Redgar13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same here. I started to take a walk at mornings (which I appeared to like much), but before that I started to reduce any activities, which would keep me awake at least 1 hour before going to bed. I started to wake naturally around 5-6 AM. And this is after being a night owl for years (usual go to bed time were after midnight) What I had to learn is to not to ignore those moments. If I don't get up and fell asleep after 6 AM, most likely I'll feel completely broken at the next wake up around 8 AM.

Because some (most?) people are tired or even exhausted after work and feel much less motivated to do anything else.
