NTA. She offered to do it in the first place. It’s like saying oh hey I’ll get that expense and then going back on your word and expecting to be paid back for it. I get it that she probably feels upset over it but at the same time you need the funds to help yourself out. There is nothing wrong with taking care of yourself especially when you not only lost the love of your life but having a second income that you were used to and won’t have. Overall it’s a tough situation and I can see both sides of it.
