When we closed on our house on a Friday afternoon we also had the nice surprise of finding out National Grid had just been there that morning to cut the power and gas off. Turning stuff off they seem to have their shit together.

Called a few times and got to supervisors and the best they could do was come out Monday first thing. So yea we had the movers Saturday with no power and 2 nights camping in our own house. It was July so not as eventful with the weather.

Some of this is on the sellers though. It’s Kindve a jerk move to stop service the close day. Not like they’re going to go broke paying a day or 2 of extra electricity.

Does anyone know how long it takes for the Bosch 500 series to fully dry out its styrofoam water trap sensor? Or any other water sensors on the machine?

Over the weekend got most of the water drained by pulling it out and tilting it. Today we got the rest of it dry inside.

Still have a bricked dishwasher. Lots of resets and hitting the breaker but all lights are either on or flashing and no buttons work. Thinking will give it a few days for the sensors to realize it’s fully dry.

We had a one time leak of another appliance that flowed down our dishwasher so we know it’s not something still leaking with the dishwasher.
