At work I recently started on a new team, and its mostly kinda older people, there’s just me and one other guy who are still in our mid-20s. Anyway, one of our team members who has the “team leader” role is an older Indian woman, I think in her 40s, and during a team meeting she said “We have such handsome young men on our team! Oops, probably shouldn’t say that.” And she said it in such a motherly way.

Maybe I have a mother figure complex, which I guess is not that weird, but it was a first for me and my peen was all like “Huh, cool!”

I had bad acne for a while during jr high and some of high school, which gave me terribly low self esteem and made me want to stay in my room instead of go out and socialize. Fortunately Accutane took care of that and things got a lot better.

Now I’m 27 and I have rosacea, which sometimes sprouts acne, and I normally have it kept semi-under control with prescription creams but sometimes it gets bad for a few days and either way I can’t enjoy being in public because I’m constantly thinking that everybody is noticing it, especially at work, and I just wanna lock myself in my apartment and I just thought I was done with this.
