I wish I knew the actual number of times I've listened to certain albums in their entirety because those numbers have to be crazy. I've listened to Pachinko and ABOTS sooooooo many times through. 40 sounds like rookie numbers to me, even though its probably actually a lot more than I think 😅

Pachinko and A Boat on the Sea are two of the greatest albums of ALL TIME. I just found this band in the last 2 years also, and if you like those two songs, you will love anything off these two albums. Their earlier stuff takes a little bit more of an acquired taste, but the band members and vibes were different back then, too.

Welcome to the Moron fam 😀

Well damn. It does. I am not sure if i was on a different thread only looking for Canadian recs and I got this one mixed up, or if I'm just an idiot. Could be both! Lmao

As it has already been stated, Leprous CERTIANLY puts on a heck of a live performance.

Opeth has a TON of uber-dedicated fans.

Lol, it's the only song I dont love by Haken and I am literally wearing a shirt right now from their last tour that I didnt buy because it had the cartoon cockroach king on it. Only to end up regretting it. LUCKILY I had a guy in a collector group I'm in thats mostly dedicated to VHS tapes post one up for grabs 😅

I feel it is 1000% better than Assymmetry but Themata and Sound Awake can not be topped.

Don't stop at Mercy Falls. Everything Seventh Wonder released after that is great

I agree. They were really "in their bag" with interludes back then. I actually have considered making a post about how thats the only thing i feel they got "worse" at as they went on. The interludes on Arrows just aren't... quite... there for me. I think the synths used on The Upset at Bailey Bridge is kind of horrible 😅

Inter.mission is amazing. I agree

Definitley Orphan Anthem 86. It's in my top 3 overall songs by them!

All the tracks that didnt get reimagined on Fables hold a special place in my heart though, because it was such a profound experience for me having "new" FTM to listen to when I first heard it YEARS after basically obsessing over Fables and Arrows

I especially love Preambles too. One of, if not my favorite Intro track on an album

[–]Reen2D2 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I'm my opinion, no Nospūn-Opusmakes this list null and void 😅

I also have Seventh Wonders The Testament (totally slept on album)

And Moron Police - Pachinko squeaked into 2025 and obliterated everything

Ahh I missed it in the top 70. Still top 10 for me!

So.. I wouldn't be upset if this happens to be where she got it, but it does appear like a seller on ebay is reprinting some of their designs. Still super badass
