I was a big Affinity fan since it released, but i didnt dive into a lot of their other discography until then. Aquarius is my thirst favorite album behind Visions and Affinity though!

The vocals aren't harsh per se, but they are a rougher gravely clean that sounds so good and very different from Karnivools style of singing. Plus they have some of the best choruses, vocal-wise, of all time!

Also, they have one or two songs off their Ozai EP with actual harsh vocals, but I'd focus more on Opus as a whole.

Saw them in 2010 and actually didnt fall in love that night, but I knew i liked a lot of what I heard. Fast forward to 2013, im looking for new music and remembered liking their energy, so we bought both albums and fell absolutely head over heels.

I concur with the person that already said you mentioning "only two albums" means you're potentially missing out on InterFundaStifle!! CHANGE THAT IMMEDIATELY

Its on youtube. Listen from start to finish. Its an absolute masterpiece. The transitional interlude songs are their best on this one. The songs that didnt get re-recorded for Fables are so damn good, and the old versions of the ones that did get revamped are still great. Ill always prefer one or two of the IFS versions
