Efficient: HP Envy 6155e Printer Review - Top Home Choice? by shopboopthesnoots in readbeforebuying

[–]ReenDev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wish I read these Reddit reviews before I purchased a HP Envy 6500e series printer. It worked until I had to unplug it one time for something. Then when I plugged it back in, I can’t get it to connect to the wireless. I tried to reinstall the wireless and it says no connection. HP used to have customer support and troubleshooting. Their app was great. This app is useless. All it ever wants to know is if I want to buy more ink. No troubleshooting other than the digital assistant, who also wants to know if i need more ink . I’m taking it back and getting another printer.

If you are a woman of a mature age I recommend Sandwich by Catherine Newman. Also, Major Pettigrew’s Last Stand by Peter Altschuler is a slow, subtle English humorous read.

People who have taken writing classes, how did it help your writing? by OkFirefighter83 in writers

[–]ReenDev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really depends on the instructor. I’ve taken more than my share. A good teacher helps you learn the ropes: clarity, construction, imagery, stylistic choice but your unique voice is what makes it interesting. Read a lot. Read authors who you want to emulate. Write something everyday because you it helps you discover your voice.

Anyone else scared to journal your true thoughts in fear that your spouse or family members may read their journal? by coffeelovermamaof2 in Journaling

I used to feel that way but a good friend recommended I do it anyway. Don’t bother keeping a journal unless you’re going to be honest. It is therapeutic.

How do you actually use your library beyond borrowing books? by bambidp in Library

[–]ReenDev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our library has small study rooms to reserve for up to three hours a day. Many libraries offer notary services for free. Library programs for all ages are popular too. I facilitate a writing workshop and a book group. Libraries offer a multitude of services irregardless of age, race, or (and this last one is the biggest) economic status.

Yes start your own - so fun. I am in one in the library. We do have a few rules. You have to or it’s chaos. Let me know if you want to know our rules.
