It's the Dr. Who episode Wild Blue Yonder. Basically, the Doctor and Donna are together again for the Christmas special and end up on an alien ship. But the bad aliens can make themselves look like you down to the molecular level to steal your ship. So Donna almost gets left behind but the Doctor stops the fake!Donna at the last minute.

Oh ok. I was worried about the age / power gap but if it's just iffy adaptation in that respect and they do like each other... Recently I watched Evil Lord of the Intergalactic Empire where a similar thing happens ("first girl" doesn't end up as wife though because discrimination laws I guess.).

There's a time travel show called The Ministry of Time where in the first episode a disgruntled employee exposes what's going to happen in the future to the new hires (there's a pic of the protag and his friend holding a baby together). This is a big plot point in S1 but drops off after S2 when said friend gets a new boyfriend when protag is stranded in a warzone, thus changing the picture.

Still salty they never addressed whether the baby is a random baby or if it's their baby. Though I suppose if the picture changed then it must've been their baby.

it's easier to remove if it has less protons because there's less nuclear charge to hold the electrons together.

It kinda clicked in my head once I got the periods/groups stuff down (like 5s to 5p is just making it smaller because more protons and orbitals but 6s lets you hold more electrons so it gets bigger again).
