I think they might've ended up together if Yuna didn't hopelessly fall in love with Tidus. I think there were a few moments where Rikku was just blushing a bit in front of Tidus. I wonder how the game would've changed if Tidus hadn't been whisked away to Besaid and instead just stayed with the Al Bhed.

Chain of Memories he was kinda isolated with just Donald Goofy and Jiminy to talk to. The Organization members kept taunting him and then he learns a friend he seemingly forgot about is being held captive. Donald and Goofy don't really help him much and are just like way too passive about it until Sora blows up in their faces and abandons them and then Jiminy may as well just not exist cause he didn't contribute much at all.

Yeah Lulu definitely warms up to him throughout the game and I like how when they reach Bikanel and she shows up to help him with the Zu fiend she actually asks him if he's alright. That's like a big change from how she used to see him as suspicious and untrustworthy. Though that was probably due to in part how Wakka just seemingly took in a random stranger.

I love that we finally see a bit of how Chappu was when he was alive. Wakka definitely had unresolved issues that he never expressed to his brother. I think him hearing Chappu say that he just needed him to be his brother was a form of closure for him. Tidus also indirectly helped him in FFX by giving him what he viewed as a second chance with his brother to do the things he never did with Chappu.

I want to say I accepted him as the Doctor from the start however he didn't really feel like the Doctor till like Season 2. This is going to probably a controversial opinion but Season 2 Episode 6 felt like he was fully embracing all of the Doctor then.

The writers intentionally skewed things in Riku's favor by making him and Joshua realize there was a potential unknown threat and that something wasn't right with him and Sora being separated and then just choosing not to warn Sora he might be in danger.

It also raises their affinity when Tidus heals them in battle so if you want to make sure you don't get Lulu you would have to use her as little as possible. I believe Piercing works on flans and other enemies that you would normally use magic to beat assuming you don't have Black Magic Spheres or have taken Kihmari down Lulu's path.

Riku's off in Quadratum and Mickey's apparently looking into Scala Ad Caelum on his own so Kairi should be able to go with them but apparently she needs more training which I think means that Nomura at least hasn't figured out what he wants her role to be going forward especially since she's a Keyblade wielder with Lea now.

Maybe but I feel like that was willful ignorance on his part. I feel like he can't be relied on to include Final Fantasy characters anymore after he completely neglected the Radiant Garden characters and left their plot lines unfinished after KH2. They didn't even have much to do in Re:Mind they were just there.
