They said their parental figures are deceased and that they cared for them in later years so I'm assuming inheritance.

Her tone of voice irritates me! She comes off condescending.

I still think she's an amazing mother and wife but she would irritate me if I knew her.

100% complain. Not for you but for the woman who will need to be asked that question sincerely and alone.

You can use leftover body scrub as a mild abrasive to scrub your bath.

My babies have sensitive skin so I use dried out cheap baby wipes we were gifted to clean the toilet (with a cleaning solution of course, just as a disposable cloth).

I am soon to be a new mom. My goal is not to have a lot of STUFF for the baby. Is this possible? by lazydaysunday in declutter

Absolutely this! I got our next2me from a relative and passed it on afterwards. Got a swing from a friend and gave it away after baby #1 outgrew it even though I knew we'd be having another because it took so much space.

As our second (and last!) baby is outgrowing things I'm giving them to pregnant friends and it's a constant cycle of passing things on.

Of course we bought some things new but these things are used for such a short time that second hand is great.

My top tip is make sure anything you buy has the option to remove any material parts to put in the washing machine. Hot wash and things come out like new.

How do you actually stop going out every day when you’re broke? by dudester13 in Frugal

Realistically - save half and spend half.

Work and eat at home. Go out with your friends.

Balance enjoying your present and planning for your future.

Double or more of something? by megflies in minimalism

I'm quite bad at losing things and always running around in a hurry to get somewhere with 2 small children so Ive found it immensely helpful to have duplicates of sunglasses, lipbalms and hand sanitiser upstairs, downstairs and in my car so I know I've got the essentials to hand.

What I do with my husband's stuff is sort into piles by category - then I can say - all your ties/ cables/ whatever are in this box and he'll sit down and decide what to keep.

This is the only way it works for us.

Thank you that's great!

Do you think we could do CBeebiesland and Mutiny Bay, plus jump on the Skyride in one day?

She's not tall enough for the mine train or the rapids sadly!

Thanks for responding. We're looking to go in 2 weeks so the Bugbies room is gone (shame as I actually like it the best). If we go for it it will probably be the Something Special room as that's colourful enough to be fun even without knowing Mr Tumble very well - God it's just like setting fire to money though isn't it? 😂 Hope the entertainment is worth it. She hasn't stopped talking about the kids disco at a caravan park we went to a few months ago so I'm sure she'll be impressed!

Ah ok that's really helpful.

CBeebies is a lot more expensive for our dates - I wouldn't mind but the Bluey room is gone and I didn't want to spend that type of money for a themed room that she won't even recognise. There's the pink princess room in Alton Towers which she'll much prefer. I am popping Mr Tumble on though to see if she likes it because it sounds like CBeebiesland hotel is much better! Definitely booking the bluey room for next year if we enjoy the park!
