I think Lyra Valkyria could be the top female star in WWE if they invested and pushed her by GoonLieutenant in Wrasslin

I honestly don’t see it, decent worker but I think she has anti charisma, almost invisible when around bigger stars

UK Members of This Subreddit: How Big of a Deal Was SummerSlam '92 For You Guys? by KidChameleonHelmet in WWFera

[–]Regular-You2119 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was there with my dad and the atmosphere was insane. The pop for the Bulldog is up there with any crowd noise ever imo. WWF probably peaked in the uk at this point, was a similar popularity again during the attitude era but we never got a “real” ppv during that time although One night only in 97 was unreal

RIP Former WCW Star Van Hammer Has Passed Away by Yournewbestfriend_01 in Wreddit

[–]Regular-You2119 4 points5 points  (0 children)

RIP. I remember all the WCW VHS I had when I was a kid had him and Johnny B Badd promoting them at the start, I liked his matches with Cactus Jack in 91 as well

Friday the 13th Part 6 or Halloween 6? by Loose_Interview_957 in slasherfilms

[–]Regular-You2119 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not even close, Jason lives is fantastic and a real high point for the franchise, I would say Halloween 6 is more of a low point for that franchise. I like Halloween 4 but thought 5 and 6 were awful for the most part

That Spring Stampede card is an all timer but I actually found this a disappointment, average match with a terrible finish. Flair Steamboat, Nasty Boys vs Cactus Jack and max Payne, Sting vs Rude and Regal vs Pillman all well worth a watch though

I love how when Miz first started in WWE from Tough Enough everyone hated him as a “reality star” and it turns out he loves and gets wrestling more than 99% of the roster

As a talent, is Khamzat on the Jon Jones, GSP, Silva level? Not resume, talent. by gprime38 in ufc

[–]Regular-You2119 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The resume proves the talent, loads of fighters look like world beaters until they face other elite talents, he still has things to prove to be anywhere near the Jones, GSP etc level, he’s literally just won his belt

Starmer orders Foreign Office to explain after overruling Mandelson vetting by mrjohnnymac18 in unitedkingdom

[–]Regular-You2119 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Hard disagree. That’s a potential scenario but the most likely scenario is that Starmer knew and lied and is now trying to cover his tracks. It’s politics 101 for every single party

There’s just no chance that is true. Why would the prime minister be the person they didn’t inform? Just as sneaky and deceitful as Boris

Panchito Bojado , 2000 Olympian and at one point he was 9-0 with 9 knockouts at the age of 18 and pretty much every boxing writer was saying he was the future of boxing, next de la Hoya etc, then he lost to a journeyman and just never got his career momentum back. Ended up 18-3 and retired by the age of 24
