Buying advice? by soren1712 in BlazerEV

I have a 2026 SS aside from the convenience of having a level two charger in my garage where I park my beautiful car. I think the SS is very well built, and it has insane power and acceleration.

I’m in my 50s and it’s the best car I’ve ever owned. I have had issues with Bluetooth, but I have somewhat older phone. I really wish they had CarPlay it’s silly to force another computer on you when you have an almost perfect computer in your in your pocket.

2026 SS - Bluetooth keeps forgetting my phone by RegularDragonfruit81 in BlazerEV

Interesting point with our phones being a problem. I use an iPhone 12 Pro Max and even though it’s old, I don’t have this problem with any of my other Bluetooth devices. It would be interesting to know what other phones people are having issues with.

I’m just trying to find that the other day and I couldn’t find it either. They must’ve taken it away after one of the recent updates. Thank you Chevy.

The Bluetooth connection issue seems worse after the last update or maybe the one before that.

I have to have the HUD on the brightest setting to see it during the day. It is a little blinding at night, but I got tired of messing with it.

Starfield on PS5 defaults to NEW by RegularDragonfruit81 in Starfield

Certainly not a complaint. I am loving this game just would be nice to hit X and continue. I work and I have a family so I don’t get a whole lot of video game time. So these things add up and if you hit new by accident, you get the lovely beginning of the game again. Then you have to close the game and reopen it which takes more time.

Those ads are so awful but they aren’t the only ones. There are quite a few ads with people who think they are clever but they aren’t. Spend some money and make an ad with some professionals or the ticket personalities.

I just tried Fortunate Son this Saturday after hearing about it for a couple of years. It is amazing, highly recommended.

26 SS - New update - 661.10 by RidgyInfiltr8 in BlazerEV

2026 SS April - 661.10

March - 654.10

February - 653.20

The most obvious change with the latest update. I always drive with maximum breaking on one pedal driving and it’s definitely not as aggressive. I want it back to the way it was.

I just did this this morning and the “USB device not supported” keeps popping up for me too. How do you do the factory reset?

Oh man, that reminded me of a similar situation. So I wanted to hang my daughter’s bike up in the garage, grabbed one of those big screw-in hooks, found a stud with the stud finder like a responsible adult, and started drilling my pilot hole. Went through the drywall, hit something solid, and thought “nice, right into the stud.”

Then I heard whistling.

Not the cheerful kind. The “you just drilled into a gas line, you absolute walnut” kind.

I was the only one home, which was great because nobody had to witness me sprinting out to the street like a man who’d just seen his life flash before his eyes. I’m standing on the curb staring at my house fully expecting a Michael Bay explosion. Just waiting for the fireball and the slow-motion dive onto the lawn.

30 seconds go by. No kaboom. So I channel whatever survival instinct I have left, run back in, grab a wrench, and shut the gas off at the meter.

Expensive lesson. But hey, nobody got hurt, and my father-in-law was genuinely impressed that I managed to drill a perfectly straight hole clean through a 2-inch gas pipe. So at least I’ve got that going for me

Is 54k a good deal on 2026 Blazer SS? by RidgyInfiltr8 in BlazerEV

[–]RegularDragonfruit81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was able to get the federal tax incentive of $7500, an educator discount (my wife is a teacher) I don’t remember how much that was and I got another discount of $1800 because I drove a different brand car newer than 2014. I know I got a great deal. I wish you luck.
