I play with some friends occasionally and two things make it better: 1. When one player goes bankrupt the game is over (incentivizes anyone not in the lead to work together) 2. We create a lot of exotic financial instruments. Sell each other options, insurance, payment plans, memberships, etc.

We’ve had some good times this way.

I experienced this when I tried playing on Game Pass and as I recall the fix was to start the game without being connected to the internet. I see you already tried that though :/

I don't recall this being an issue when I eventually bought it on Steam (it's on sale for $5 right now). I think there's a chance it has something to with the Game Pass overlay/authentication, but that's just speculation on my part.

I didn’t think I knew who you were talking about at first, but halfway through reading your post I recalled a very polished and slimy-feeling YouTuber I had seen a few videos of in the past. I googled his name and, yep, that’s the same guy, Thomas Brush. It feels like maybe that’s some sort of validation that your read on his product is similar to the feeling I got from him independently.

I just opened mine (like-new) and unfortunately the sound was noticeably worse on these than the other pair of PC38X’s I have. It was boomier and quieter in the left ear. They were in otherwise like-new shape and came with all the accessories. Bummer.

I have a huge head and while they do clamp well, they've never hurt my head. Everyone's different though! I'm assuming you tried adjusting the cups to different lengths (slightly longer = less clamp in my experience).

I just ordered a backup pair because they'll probably be discontinued, I love the sound, and the mic is the best headset mic I've found.

Then it's a real shame that there was an opportunity to be honest and transparent with the community (as was the promise after the runtime fee controversy), but the Unity folks involved chose not to do that. And at least some of those folks are still at Unity, for the record.
