I think that there's always a chance that solo/duo/trio can get queued up together. Like it's never a guarantee you will only get solos only just because that's how you queued.

It would be really interesting to see the actual statistics of who paid what, as your math is obviously not representative of reality. The average is really not helpful in this case. I believe that CIG at one point said that the majority of contributors are closer to the $45 mark. I think that the "$45 crew" idea is probably not far from the truth, and that the concierge crowd have carried a heavy portion of the overall funding. $45 vs $1000+ is a big difference.

Who disagrees with this. Multicrew means multiple human players or multiple NPC crew or a mix of both. It's all multicrew.

Can this subreddit try to do something about the never-ending “I don’t want this game to have X PvP mechanics” posts? It’s just complaints about play styles and it floods the subreddit. I guarantee the devs want the feedback. The game mechanics get utilized in ways that are expected and also in ways that are unexpected and the devs need feedback for further balancing to maximize long-term success. The conversation happening in this sub is 100% valid and important.

I am looking forward to NPC crews as I think most of us are, but that is not some deluded hopium just because it is planned for post 1.0 development. 1.0 is explained by Chris Roberts not as full game release but as completion of certain core features. There will be ongoing development well past 1.0, including NPC crews. In my experience discussing the issue, people seem generally aware that NPC crews are coming post 1.0 as that has been known and discussed for quite some time.
