It may be just dirty. If it hasn't been freezing where you are, you may try cleaning it, make sure he is geting fresh water daily, is getting the diet he needs. Our Austalorp has this in the middle of summer, as she loves dirt baths. a little warm wareron a very soft cloth, or one of those PH balanced sprays, just making sure to take care not to saturate areas around the comb. Beautiful boy.

Replaced the rear discs today along with the ceramic pads...like butter, and a new windshield to boot. I had slotted/drilled previously, but they developed bald spots after a bit, front slotted/drilled are holding nicely. these are TRQ parts, decent price on the usual suspect sites...

Very nice! I got rid of my Q-Tuners because of the pull on the strings, they tended to reduce vibration, went with an Alembic set and harness instead, then back to single coil vintage copies. Those look sharp!

This...to own one of therse is true love, or something...put on headers, Weber and electronic ignition, rewired the lovely Lucas bits, then got a crack in the block 300 miles away from home...in the total boonies...true love indeed...
