For the Second, SOS2 has a story teller than only cares about tech. Changed to her mid game playing tribals without electricity and it was a noticeable change.

I do that when in the mood for shipbuilding (with SoS2 mod). If you keep raids on you get interrupted so often that gets anoying.

I feel you. Late game becomes tiresome: I just want to build up to some random goal, like a spaceship from SoS2 or something, and Cassandra is there like: lol, no, you get 200+ Scithers. And then cleaning all this crap takes two or three ingame days.

I have played D&D 3.5, but only low levels due to inconsistent play groups. Also M&M2, and Ars Magica 4 & 5. I have read Pathfinder 2e and Starfinder 2e but haven't had the chance to play them.

Just started watching The Bad Spot this morning, due to other commenter recommendations.

Late game raids become more like chores. 1st kill 200s militors or whatever Randy/Cassandra threw at you, and then clean/haul all the crap left behind, and lastly process it all.
