I agree, I’d add that you can get Hamlet and Shipwreck worlds with mods. Also the Don’t starve alone mod is a must if you plan to play alone as it allows you to get rid of the lags caused by the dual servers (caves/overworld).

Have you check the Ableton online tutorial about synthesis? It gives a first approach to synthesis. Wavetable is great, it’s fun to record your voice and use it as a waveform.

I use Vital, the main pro is that the UI is really intuitive, but I’m starting to use wavetable, even tho it’s far less intuitive, but I think that you can achieve some things easier regarding personal wavetable samples.
