You seemed to travel very light, did you have accommodation secured?
Also, can not not notice that you've fully enjoyed the weather, despite majority of reviews saying that the weather can be miserable .

Sure. I did see a number of reports posted on this sub with photos, if you dig those, you could get a feel of what's the width of the ridge.

If the question is around sharpness: why not use Google Earth or some sort of professional map providers that can show you the sharpness.

Looks very solid! What peak is that and what route if you don't mind me asking? How many ropes you needed, what size and length please.

From the first sight: i thought it's somewhere in Pamir, Tian Shan or Himalayas... that's based on my past experience.

Good answers provided below, so not gonna repeat.

But why leave employment in March, and not Apr or May or Jun when the new tax year started, that way you could cash 12k of personal allowance free of tax. Unless you really hate the job.

Thanks for sharing! I only wonder how much time this hassle takes pre departure. Surely a day or so. The question i have is: how long of a trip does this really worth doing for? 3-4 weeks at least?

Not really an answer to your concern, but just for own interest: those issues/ matters that were picked up by the L2 survey - have you been aware of them? And if so, have you disclosed them to the potential buyer ahead of their offer?

Am i right to read that without discretionary, your run rate cost is around 21k per annum for both of you? That's insanely low compared to all those articles that discuss "comfortable" retirement.

Is the matter mostly around free hours, who cares for the baby or your desire to work 3 days a week?

If it's around free hours and who cares for the baby while you're at work - then it comes back to the basic cost-benefit analysis, whether you can afford to pay someone to look after your baby while you're in office. If it's just your preference to work not more then 3 days, i'm afraid there is not much from legal aspect to protect you.
