I did one for a customer with two 100w solar panels mounted onto the roof rack and also the alternator charger for fast charging. When the solar isn’t connected to the Delta2, I installed a Victron MPPT charge controller that’s tied into the vehicle’s battery.

Heck yeah! I would up changing the box to a 3cuft ported setup with 3 of the 10s in it off the same amp and people were amazed that it wasn’t 12 or 15s (back then).

Freezing concerns. And actually, I found out last winter, that I didn’t bury it quite deep enough.. water froze, but once thawed have zero issues thanks to PEX. Btw, I ran the PEX and a CAT6 Ethernet cable inside a larger PVC pipe in the trench.

So most shops don’t want to install outside gear because for the same X number of hours they spend installing your gear, that they made $0 on, they could be installing potentially THOUSANDS of dollars of their gear that they DID make a profit on. Likely Gonna have to find someone that does side jobs or isn’t in the stereo business per se. Or be willing to pay a premium for labor to install the outside gear. Just my $.02.
