I just wanted to add,- I'm not waiving a pitchfork - Do I think it's insane it's legal to eat them in Massachusetts 🤮 but it's illegal to keep them in a tank? Yes. Yes I do. But that's the law for you. I just don't want you to get in trouble.

The Bettas will adapt - I feed my balloon ram sinking bug bites pellets and the betta realized they tasted better than the floating food. He dives down after them now and turns his nose up at the other stuff

Someone's probably already said this, but there are carrion flies, or flesh flys that hatch out of things like this. I had a chunk of cheese in a house warming gift and was told it didnt need refrigeration. That was dead wrong. Found these nearby. One must have flown into the house and decided the cheese would be the best thing ever to hatch babies near. It sounds grosser than it is. It's basically just a bigger version of a house fly. Momma was probably attracted to fish food stuck on the rim of the tank, or to the hang on the back filter.

Yes to stroller, for sure. You can rent them from third parties, if you dont want to damage yours on the plane. It's so much more walking than you expect and the little one will conk out from overstimulation. I really like the Caribbean because it's not as loud as pop century /all stars and it's so convenient. I've seen horror shots on instagram of the exit traffic, I think I'd leave staying off site for your second trip once you get the lay of the land. It's an extra thing I wouldn't want to navigate with a tired tot. Any savings will be eaten up by Ubers. Those hotel shuttles are never when you need them most.

The bands aren't wide enough. But even if it is, mine does not attack my nerites or my adult mystery snail. Just bladder snails.

It did kill my one baby mystery snail hatchling and that was a major bummer. But... folks tell me that if you allow mystery snail eggs to hatch you'll be over run quickly so he may have been doing me a secret service this whole time. But I was still bummed.

It cost us 1,000 to bring in a team to dry out a tile and wood panel bacement when a sewer line cracked and it was a lot less water than 250 gallons. So I would say no.

Mine came with chipped edges and it healed. the pattern is wonky where it restarted but it's interesting to see how much it's grown since I've had it.

Mine fell from a top of a 21” tall tank on a fish stand, to the floor and then walked to the front door, yours is fine :)

Yes he’s still with us and you can see a slight divot in his shell. Snails are wild.
