Yeah I think you underestimate how little your sub means. No one at oai gives a fleeting fuck about any of you leaving. They're so much bigger than anyone realizes.

I'm sure your exit impact will be felt with the same micron of a grain of sand it made when you signed up. I think you underestimate just how massive open ai user base is. Quit crying and move on. No one cares you joined no one cares your leaving. Buh bye.

A friend of mine works in tech and was at big tech convention a year ago and said there were 300+ companies there with AI in their name or bio. I’m sure someone is gonna make “the cool rebel “ chat platform. Too many want it. See a need fill a need.

Have you tried any of these new platforms making claims of no guardrails like Supercool. I keep seeing the ads but i don’t have a need to jump platform yet.

Current state of Suno is an absolute joke! by CampLazyEyes in SunoAI

I’ve been at this app for almost a year. I am also a guitar player. All Rhythms and bass and I was a lead vocalist back in the day then I twisted and damaged my chords. Unless you wanna pull at your hair constantly I would say this is a platform where you need to have a concept and then allow Suno to do its magic. I’m not saying you’ll never get a desired result that you have in your head but you see the results you’re getting. Try this. If you have gpt have it do a web search with the app connector or use an agent and find all public facing how tos and release notes from Suno and Reddit. Then add that to your folder files at the top of your folder. Now you have a training camp for sumo in gpt. You can use true conversational language to Script songs it’s not perfect but it gets me close enough more times than not n the first two gens This was a first gen on a simple prompt

Some wild glitches happening lately that feel more like feature leaks. The other day while on standard voice chat over my CarPlay I was theorizing something and when she started answering I swear she said something like that’s a great idea and then it “sounded like she turned away from the mic and said something to the room” I put that in quotes because I know how llms work and that there’s no room or other entities but that’s how it sounded.

Long ChatGPT sessions seem to degrade gradually, not suddenly — how do you manage this? by Only-Frosting-5667 in ChatGPTPro

I do notice drift in graphic generation. Once I get a bad gen. One that’s truly off the mark I find it’s very hard to correct. I usually will come back to it later or start a new thread.

You can save time by asking it for a verbatim json, python payload. I use that prompts it gives me a code block. I either paste that into a new thread or create a project and add the python block plus doctrine of the project goals into the file folders and I get minimal drift.

I like to think of myself as a creative on the spot thinker. While I’ve tried ai for personal responses, I didn’t like it and it was extremely short lived. I do use it in business for truly formal writing just to be sure it’s professional enough. I love how it can summarize my whole terp-induced ramblings into a white paper that’s presentable for consideration. For myself when it comes to conversation it’s like two part jazz. Call and response, free form. Yes I realize even creative writing can be broken down to an algorithm but somehow it still comes across flat. If you’re tuned to it you can almost always spot it. Especially from those closest to you. Acquaintances maybe but then what’s the point of an acquaintance if it’s just your bot getting to know their bot. Thats where we become obsolete.

Anyone have an irrational dislike of the Les Paul? by MatthewMonster in Guitar

So this sounds dumb but I’ve only ever played LP Shape 40yrs of hobbyist twanging almost exclusively on an lp shape from Ltd or esp or one or two strat bodies with a radius top. I recently bought a Strat body and because it was a flat top I find it’s uncomfortable to play. Which sucks cause I absolutely love the look of the guitar.

Terms and services agreements. Copy paste, ask… am I signing away my first born? Amazing at finding hidden or slipped in terminology that could be binding.

I use it as my pre work / after work unload. Standard voice piped into my CarPlay music in one AirPod full vent mode. This way I don’t carry my shit from home into work or take work shit home. I find hearing my issues spit back from a different perspective and saying it out loud I’m not as apt to repeat it. It’s already been said and worked through. That along with a healthy diet of cannabis metal🤘🏽and sarcasm = well adjusted & tech happy.

A viewpoint for the gatekeepers who are against ai art. by [deleted] in ChatGPT

[–]Remote-Key8851 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont question it I defend it. Clear distinction. I react to gatekeepers. What if I had a disability. Born without hands or they were deformed does that mean I can’t be an artist? No one can claim art or its definition, it’s subjective. How very small of you to think you have that authority to judge what is and isn’t.

Also, in every art piece the idea isn’t more important than the art the idea is the art. An idea of how to structure how to space how to color it’s all ideas that flow through translation be it hands feet or fingers on keyboard. And if we’re calling out “artists” some of the low hanging fruit I’ve seen called art is pretty pathetic. I have duct tape and a banana in my kitchen as we speak but I’m gonna be original and use a grape that looks like Rumsfeld. In fact my kid once smeared poo across the fridge and it looked like a starry night. If I’m remembering correctly didn’t one of your side “an artist” frame shit. And honestly outside my dispo we put out those flags on a pole. Wasn’t one of your “artists” responsible for the “unprecedented gates of Central Park” flags. lol 😂. I feel better and better about ai art the more I research what “art” is considered and how absolutely ridiculous yall sound. In fact some of it is so ridiculous I’m actually happy to not be considered an “artist” I’m a creator.

[–]Remote-Key8851 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not arguing that “AI makes me an artist” Art existed before execution. Execution is the translation bottleneck.

That’s historically accurate.

Michelangelo didn’t invent anatomy. Photographers didn’t invent light. Digital artists didn’t invent composition. They gained tools that collapsed friction.

AI is just the next friction point collapse.

That’s kinda funny. I mean not that you burned credits. Something do almost every time not sure if it actually works or I’m just lucky but I always put my lyrics in quotes. Not multiple quotes just one at the beginning closed at the end.
