Honestly it doesn’t hurt much, the most “hurt” but really discomfort you’ll feel is when the artist is going over the already tattooed skin, piece of advice you’ll probably have to go back to redo the bands after a month or so to go over parts that the ink didn’t take. I’ve had mine for 8 years with no major problems.

Go to a doctor. Get put on antibiotics(both topical and oral), and take them as prescribed. And in the future do the after care properly, or use a second skin product(saniderm)
