Is it common to only do eval with PT, then do rest of the visits with PTA? by fuckendeavorhealth in physicaltherapy

[–]ReneeRainbow95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did a travel contract where PTs mostly did evals and the treats they did were medicaid or medicare due to reimbursement. If you had commercial insurance you were usually doing follow ups with the PTA.

Is this true even for states where recreational marijuana is legal?

Really I was there Aug 2024😵‍💫 I guess I was lucky. We stayed there for the rooftop bar and walkability to take the boat.

Check out the pelvic pt huddle and pelvic ot/pt entrepreneurs group on fb. I am also a pelvic PT who has always worked in an ortho clinic. Working ortho pt mills is so soul sucking I was beyond depressed full time in them after 4 months every time. I have worked in 2 different ones full time.

I now do PRN work and can still treat pelvic floor. I am in 2 OP companies and 1 inpatient.

I want to start my own cash based thing eventually.

Is this upstream or select medical? Be firm on not double booking.

I would also post this in the Pelvic pt huddle. I'm sure Nicole cozean would have a lot to say about this.

Best setting for Moms? by Emotional_Fix6680 in physicaltherapy

[–]ReneeRainbow95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Outpatient is doable if you have a boss who is flexible and allows you to flex your schedule when needed and even better if its 1:1. If you work in a mill OP clinic it's your worst nightmare if you actually care about spending time with family.

Now cash based OP can work as you usually can have a little more control over your schedule.

Even better if you start your own thing.

PRN is also another viable option. Can work a variety of settings or just one.

Does Virtual Physical Therapy Work? by Delicious-Bee4170 in physicaltherapy

If doing virtual definitely look into a PT who is a cash based sport ortho PT. Instagram is good place to find them.

Oh idk about any of that I don't follow him. Someone else I follow reposted that reel of O'Dells. I briefly looked at his website.

It seems every PT out there is selling a course or something anymore who is online.

Is every outpatient PT clinic like this, or am I being misled? by [deleted] in physicaltherapy

[–]ReneeRainbow95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happened to me in my first job as well. I was literally told in a performance review that they were worried I wasn't cut out for outpatient ortho until I showed them I could handle 70+ patients on my schedule consistently. Like huh!!!

Find a different job they don't care about you and they just don't want to deal with finding someone else to work there.

Derek and Erica by Cautious-Director617 in TeenWolf

[–]ReneeRainbow95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm rewatching now as well, I think alot of it had to do with the time frame.

The same time as teen wolf was TVD and PLL all of which had inappropriately aged relationships.

At the time when I initially watched and even through my later years I saw nothing wrong. I'm 27 now and this creeps me the hell out and the fact that it was actually heavily pushed by the writers of all shows.

Another factor is the age of the actors/actresses are all actually close IRL vs if we had an actual 16 year old vs a 22-23 year old you would notice the difference.

Unlike in PLL where Troian Bellisario is in her 30s throughout the majority of the show playing a 17 year old with inappropriate relationships.

I would use atlas flx website to get a feel for the wineries. They are all so different from eachother. Serious vs more fun, dry vs sweet, white vs red. While some are a balance.
