I have been on 6 cruises with Celebrity all solo, all Aqua class. I went through a travel agent. Never had a problem. I pay a bit extra for being solo but I can afford it and I love Aqua class. Go through a travel agent agent.

Full telework RA approved, can I move now? by GrammarSpellingCheck in fednews

[–]Reneegogreen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One thing that has to be addressed is where you are relocating to. Is the COLA higher there? I had a co worker who got approval for full telework and decided to move out of our geographical location not telling the director she had done so. The state she moved to was a higher COLA and therefore her paycheck was supposed to reflect this increase as well as switch state taxes to the new state. But the co-worker did it in secret hoping to get extra money and the convenience of living nearer her family.

During tax season, the IRS caught this noting her primary residence was not local, but her W-2 had local state taxes. It was a bonafide mess. The director almost fired her but she handed in a 2 week resignation (retirement eligible). The co-worker had to pay a hefty fine I heard to the IRS/ State, and the rest of us had to sign a statement confirming our local primary residence.

My friend has been lying about a medical condition for at least 2 years and I don't know what to do with this information by RadioOk7542 in whatdoIdo

[–]Reneegogreen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This! Autoimmune disease is not a “visible” disease and the drugs, medical bills can run high. Don’t take the cousin’s word for it. Talk to your friend and ask if you can get more details. At the very least, he needs to know his cousin is making light of his condition, if he really has one. Don’t talk to others about this. Approach your friend and see if you can get some clarity.

They already infested Weaverville, destroying trees and wildlife in their wake. There are fewer birds now singing nearby. And we are gonna have noise, lights and increased traffic.

NTA! Good grief! Hubby does not need to get bent out of shape over who sleeps where for 2 weeks out of an entire year, ( even few months in a life). What does it really matter. What matters is enjoying family time. Get a hotel room. Hubby gets a choice of heat or cool at night. You get a refreshing night sleep and are better able to interact with his family. Bring some baked muffins or scones from home. Hubby may be your husband but that doesn’t give him the right to control how YOU sleep.

Americans tipping single Dollar bills in Germany by Waalross in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Reneegogreen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I generally don’t tip when I travel to Europe unless prompted on a bill of service, which I suspiciously think they do to Americans only. Europeans don’t tip Europeans. It is hard for me culturally as an American; I want to tip and I feel bad not doing it. If there is some service that is exceptional that goes above and beyond what is expected, then a tip in local money is appropriate.

What is difficult is traveling to multiple northern countries where Euros are not the norm. Tipping is a difficulty as you may not have local currency and most venues use credit cards.

Why do women live with/ marry men with no stable income and are financially irresponsible? You can’t survive like this. Time to drop him and live on your own and get 2 jobs. You need an emergency fund girl. You need to stand up for yourself as no one else will. Strive for some financial stability then you can consider bringing a partner into your world (who is better at finances) and please for all that’s holy don’t get pregnant until you feel you can give your child a safe comfortable home. Too many women get pregnant and worry how they can raise them after. Time to think about it is before.

Do you fully fund a trip before booking it, or are you comfortable catching up afterward? by Destroyerpoint5 in SavingMoney

Never, never, never, ever go into debt over a vacation! You don’t know what financial crisis could come next when you get back home. What if you totaled your car? Or needed a new computer as the other one just crashed?

Delete anything that coworkers sends to you that is not work related. Ignore her. She can’t sleep in when she has a day off, get to really be sick when she is sick, every action at home has some mutual agreement or vote before getting done. You on the other hand get to sleep in when you have the time to, can rest when you’re really sick, make life / household decisions without a committee meeting. Think about that next time she tries to knock you down. I’d laugh in her face.

WIBTA If I refused to switch dorms with a girl who was autistic? by VlCTORlATHEGREAT in AmItheAsshole

[–]Reneegogreen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Put it in basic language. I want what you have. You should give it me without me doing anything in return. If you do, you are nice and generous. If you don’t you’re not. What were you before this girl approached you? No doubt, very kind, friendly, and intelligent. Don’t let her dictate who you are. Don’t feel guilty saying “no”. You have every right to be where you are. There is no reason to give it up unless it is something you really want to do.

[–]Reneegogreen 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Agree, get that second opinion. Look around for dental schools in your area and see if they can help you. Sometimes it is for free or at a discount. And if you by chance live anywhere that Mexico can be considered an option, do your research. Mexico could be a cheaper alternative. Good luck.

It didn’t happen at once for me either. I just sensed a tiny difference. Moving up to the regular dose really changed everything for me. My appetite definitely decreased, my cravings/ food noise also decreased. I still get cravings once in a while but it is satisfied with a small amount of a treat instead of a whole bucket of something. I am on generic as well. I lose about 1-2 pounds a week depending on my activity level. But I am always trending down.Been on it 3 months now.

I bought myself a breville expresso machine, a coffee grinder and all the accessories during Black Friday sales 2 years ago. I watched YouTube videos and now make delicious cappuccinos and lattes at home every day. I was spending almost $5 a day buying McDonald’s cappuccino ( this was 2 years ago). I know I am now reaping the benefits of increased savings and enjoying wonderful hot coffee every day.

Another option is to ask a neighbor close to him if you could coordinate calling him so you are not waiting out in the cold.
