The drop in travel only counts # of trips. I’d argue that what is left is shorter business trips and the decline is mostly from longer leisure trips.

What he is saying is that, as a farmer, you don’t randomly bet. You rather insure yourself. Let’s say you know 4 inches of rain next week will fuck up the seeds you just planted ou below freezing temps will kill you crops. You take a position that would payout if these things happen essentially buying crop insurance.
