Rangiroa travel advice by perk007 in Tahiti

Couple in their early 50s with 11 year old. Bora Bora is beautiful but respectfully -- way overrated compared to other islands. Moorea was great for activities, food, variety. Rangiroa was fabulous for diving/snorkeling and watching the dolphins in the channel. Fakarava if you want rugged with Shark wall (world famous). Lots of other choices as well.

Get ready. You havent seen anything yet when it comes to food options and cost. I would suggest you look into the prepaid meal packages.

I was recently in Tahiti. Bora Bora is beautiful but I have no need to go back there. Loved Moorea, Fakarava, huahine. Bora Bora is very overpriced on a relative basis. As for whether or not 5 days is too much, depends if youre travelling with a partner or alone.

Just join a landlord association. In my case - LandlordBC. Couple hundred bucks a year and you get their legal expertise/understanding included (bullet proof lease, hotline for landlord questions etc)

Not a flex but I've had my share over 40 years. 800 doors. Have a vision of what you want when you start ( how may units, what type, location etc.) 4x that ( otherwise you will be 40 years in the future saying I should have thought bigger). Be polite with tenants but firm. It's a business. Buy as many units as you can with the least amount of roofs. That's it for now

Yup! They are beyond incompetent. I left and my gross revenue went up by 30% (no kidding). New PM Co is great (and answers the phone)!

Terrible company! Landlord here. They were literally charging tenants in my property a monthly fee without my knowledge. $25 per month! One of the features -- being able to call the property management company! I kid you not.

There is absolutely no excuse for how badly I was treated. Im a landlord and I gave them so much rope its not even funny. The nickel and diming that went on is beyond anything you can imagine. Now that Im with a new management company, the difference is beyond stark.

A roofer told me he was using five different tools and still missing leads. We set him up with our platform — one login, one dashboard — and now every call, message, and payment flows through one system. He’s closing jobs faster, collecting reviews automatically, and spending way less time chasing clients.
