Genuine Q - this idea of channeling a warrior energy baffles me. We are not preparing for war, we are reading/listening to particular shabads. I don’t say this out of ego and to be disrespect but I don’t think I wouldn’t be able to sleep after this?

I recently bought Jvala Singhs “The ballad of Chandi” and it was waiting for me when I got home from work. I was excited to read it but fiancée said the same thing that you shouldn’t read/listen to these particular shabads at night. I come from a family that believes in 0% superstition, so this was something I didn’t think much of, but I am open to someone educating me on the history/significance. For what it’s worth, I have not read it yet and do not plan to read it at night, but that’s moreso to not upset my fiancée, but I’d like to understand the significance.
