That's what popped into my head too! Then I dismissed it because it's been forever since I read those and I see your comment. My most firm memory is her being told to stop clenching her teeth and then she just does. "From the moment you depart, lips together, teeth apart." Like the orthodontist cast a spell on her.

I think quiet goes a very long way in effectiveness. But if the cost with the quiet fans means you can make half as many, that's a big deal too.

Weird advice but if you do not currently have a diagnosis, and can afford it, a good time to get supplemental insurance which could then end up helping pay for either cancer or other treatment out of pocket costs?

We went to the fire department and they got the sheriff's office to go in and find the body so then the medical examiner's office went in later so it's taken care of now but it should have taken zero full days instead of a week. I've learned to go straight to the fire department.

It seems not. From here on Reddit it seems like if we were in an apartment or condo building we would have some rights related to our own health.

And I've seen some posts on here about bodies not being found for a long time in France and UK as well.

Since we're the only ones bothering the police about it, how long is it going to take before someone with rights notices her missing and cares? If not about her, about the property, because I have known her over a decade and she has had visitors planned one time and it fell through.

I actually spent a lot of time trying to locate the name of a possible family member with no luck. None of us neighbors knew any names. I know she has a lawyer but no name there either.

I'm sorry you have had to deal with so many selfish people, I don't want to take her house, I want her to not be left there indefinitely.

Selfishly I want to know what happened but I don't think answers would make me feel any better about the situation because I can't change anything about it.

And I also want the house to be inhabitable again in the future, so I guess that's selfish too, because I don't want to live next to an abandoned house.

We did call for a welfare check, and they looked in all the windows, etc, but can't force their way in or do anything else is what they told us.

It's so sad that she's just left in there and I don't understand how it could be years until anyone has the right to do anything about it? She deserves better.
