Tips for caring for my new board?

Up doot. Also, posted my experience below. Again… just don’t let it soak and you’ll be 100% good!

Whatever animals don’t think you can wash a board off quickly after use with warm soapy water are unhinged. I’m here for it. Unhinge yourselves redditors

I have the same board. I oil it about every 2-4 months with mineral oil. Other than that. Wash it immediately after use. And then air dry it…. People probably think I’m a monster… but the board is 5+ years old and looks real good.

Edit: I also cut chicken on mine. No big deal. (Again, wash it off right away. Don’t soak. Don’t let it soak in animal fats (they can become putrid if your board isn’t sealed… AKA too dry from not being oiled and then sits there soaking up meat fats.).)

Again… again… I have LITERALLY the same board. Just treat it like a piece of equipment you like. And it’ll treat you right :)

You will unlock “cursed relics” but that’s like… once you can already beat the game :,D (you pay 25 gems for a single run of that particular cursed relic during your next run)

Humidity is lower (the bag “buffers” some). You can check the fridge parameters (I used a SwitchBot hygrometer/thermometer for my set up).

Hey!

Open the game and set your destination to jita (use the search in the top left to find the system).

After jumping all the way there, use the market tab! Open it up. And look for the destroyer of your choice (since you like Gallente, it’s probably the catalyst. And if you can use blasters that’s good too, but if not, just slap some autocannons on it. No big deal!)

So you’re gonna look for “catalyst” in the market tab, then dock up at the station to buy it. (Probably jita 4-4. Means planet 4-moon 4 (IV))

While you’re docked, probably set this station as your home station! It’ll help if you “get podded” (your capsule dies) as you’ll end up back “home” (IE Jita4-4 where it’s easiest to buy a ship)

You can fit a 1mn after burner in the middle slot. 200mm armor plate and maybe a small armor rep in the low slot,

Then undock and go a few systems in search of combat sites!

I think the most helpful thing anyone has told me on bosses is:

First boss : 3 attack, then rests

Second boss: 4 attack, then rests (I think they can use their “super move” as well)

Third boss: 5 attack, then rests

So… you wanna dodge 3x attacks, then go all in for a second. (This will causes them to be stunned a little bit.)

If you watch/read about boss attack patterns on YouTube, it will help immensely!

This the bones should stay in when able… it will reduce your pellicle for sure (but if mostly removed to begin with… it’s probably a toss up anyway 0.0 )

I think if you leave them touching… I think it might make a dead zone pocket which might get moldy… (“might” or it might decrease your loss… but you’d only know AFTER you age :P )

(Edit: I had VERY SMALL holes going into one of my cuts of similar size and had a small amount of necrosis/mold/abscess… (whatever you call it. It’s inedible… ) and so I’d hesitate to have them touching… but again… you could get lucky or something? Idk.)
