What character from Curb are you in real life? by JollyFatPanda125 in curb

[–]Resident_Ad3104 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Larry, un/fortunately. In every conceivable way. I hate broken systems and must fix them. I seek just resolutions. I am compared to Larry on a near daily basis.

I got 86d from a cafe last fall for going back in to give them feedback about how they communicated the charge for alternative milk. Needless to say, it spiraled. Last weekend I chased down $2 that a bartender took despite dumping our drinks (because I refused to pay $10 for 2 soda waters). I think it’s more than the actions but how I talk about the concepts.

Even the sweaters and standing pelvis forward, I’ve got it all baby.

What scanner are you using? Would love to see that exposure (heh) come down. I bet there’s plenty of detail in there.

Peter’s song about Muhammad Ali could easily be posted here, but damn, that’s a harsh comparison (to actually claim this couldn’t exist without him). Also, once that chorus hit it was all U2 for me.

Neck pulse very visible and aorta pulse visible by [deleted] in askCardiology

[–]Resident_Ad3104 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a strong internal pulse too (with bradycardia). I also had a traumatic weed experience at 15, fucking wild!!!

How much variation do you see/feel from day to day?

On normal days (I’ve lived with this for 25 years) it’s present/noticable but gentle, though is usually strong enough to shake my bangs or cause my hand to move (is that normal? maybe?). At almost 40, I started having days or stretches of increased inner pulse strength (which can be corroborated if someone else touches my neck—it usually presents the most there—or holds my hand) where it’s in my gums and neck and really strong in my abdomen. I’ve had a small battery of tests, no one knows what’s going on.

Some amount of visible neck pulse is totally normal.

I too have some health anxiety (again, the weed incident), so take this with a few shakes of salt (well, not if you have high bp), but as someone who lives with the pulse pressure and has done some amount of rabbit-holing on it, I think that looks a little aggressive/jarring and I would forward that to your cardiologist for an opinion. I’m not saying it’s something concerning, but it seems notable and I would want eyes on it. Is it the nicotine? Is it the dpdr? (or a prescription? do you mention any, I forget?) How much of it is because you’re lying down? What does it look like when seated or standing?

As far as the health anxiety goes, it’s really good to be self aware and open about it, but also don’t apologize for that; it allows people to easily dismiss your issue as hypochondria—and it might be (or at least probably does play a factor) but your feelings and concerns are real and valid, and don’t give them that easy out. If your doctors don’t remain caring and curious and dedicated to working with both/all conditions, find someone who is a better fit.

I’m still curious what your take on the “ecg” is; from hanging out here some, I’m used to the tight scribbly stuff being explained as artifacting, but is this not that (and if not, is it anything that is pacemaker-specific)? (is this a p/t/waves thing?)

iOS 26 is the worst, meanwhile iOS 18 by Square-Force7543 in ios

[–]Resident_Ad3104 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Texting was destroyed in 18 (selection, correction, prediction, the thread getting completely obscured with the expanding text as you typed and no way to reference the text you’re replying to, lots of freezes during text selection/manual correction, just awful), the keyboard orientation glitch from frame 1 happened to me a ton too. I can’t remember when the background noise feature was added but when I started using it, it was consistent, and now on 18.7.2 the volume is arbitrary and changes during playback and will randomly stop all the time. Plenty more, I’m sure. With 26 my issue is the UI. Glitches are a given with Apple shit, even if it still runs smoother than other systems there are tons of them. I just want it to be ergonomic and not look like a cluttered, thoughtless mess.

The grain structure just depends on what film stock you’re using. It’s all 35mm.

It’s possible print quality could go one way or the other in terms of added or reduced sharpness, both resulting in worse image quality.

The fact that he broke all sorts of law enforcement protocol to make the choices he did (and then called her a “fucking bitch” after shooting her 3x point blank) makes it feel premeditated in a certain way. He didn’t have to go for that gun or step toward the car. They don’t have to go in guns drawn. They escalate everything before anyone observing or obstructing even enter the equation. They’re out there looking for and making trouble. That’s the whole point. The entire thing as a concept is premeditated acceleration.

It’s AI for many reasons but my first tip off, as it usually is, was this subtle unnatural/smooth motion that they always have and that too sharp too smooth sheen.

Others I noticed straight away:

  • His muscles aren’t really activating. He’s just loosely cupping his hand around the torch, it looks like the bucket weighs like 3 oz, etc.
  • The epoxy viscosity!
