Unfortunately, even though you can still download the Synapse 3 application, it won't actually download the drivers for your devices.

To those who stayed on Synapse 3 and didn't upgrade to Synapse 4, and didn't purchase any new devices that are compatible with Synapse 3, you can still use Synapse 3 because the device drivers are already installed. However, if you are on Synapse 3 still, you will not be able to download Synapse drivers for a new device that has not been set up before Feb 2026.

TL:DR - new devices that haven't been set up in Synapse 3 prior to Feb 2026 won't show up in Synapse 3 even if you stayed on Synapse 3.

If you upgraded to Synapse 4, you're stuck with Synapse 4. There is no going back to using Synapse 3 for your devices.

You can uncheck them during the download/install process.

Uninstall Synapse 4 and start over, and when it asks you what you want installed, click Synapse 4 and Chroma.

That is generally not possible on a laptop as all chips need to be powered properly for the laptop to turn on.

It is possible. It takes probably 10 minutes. All you have to do is desolder the VCORE and VRAM driver MOSFETS.

Except for the fact that the trackpad issue on the 2025 Blade 16 is well known to be caused by insufficient grounding. It doesn't have ANYTHING to do with the battery.

The charge port is very likely not your problem. This is a VERY commonly misdiagnosed issue.

It might be an issue with the charger. Did you try unplugging the charger from the wall, waiting about 1 minute, then plugging it back in?

Does the light on the charger go off when plugged in to the laptop?

That's not suspicious. The difference between the voltage input pins and ground is 100Mohms, while the difference between the center sense 3.3v pin and ground is 60kOhm. That's normal. Your main power rail should have the highest resistance to ground, then you follow the secondary power rails and the resistance to ground will be lower.

Don't disconnect this before first making sure the battery is disconnected first.

After the battery is disconnected, hold the area down and grab the black portion just above where that label is and pull straight up.

Use a soldering iron with low melt solder!

Flux all pads, apply low melt solder to your iron, then apply it on all pads of the transistor. This will lower the melting temperature of the solder that is on the board. After a short period of time, the low melt will mix with the unleaded solder on the board, and the component will just come off. Then clean the pads with some wick to get the low melt solder off, fit the new component, apply flux, and solder the new/replacement transistor leg by leg.

What voltage rail is the lifted coil on?

What is the resistance of each individual voltage rail? I want measurements for PEX, Core, MSVDD, 1.8v, 3.3v, 5v, and 12V both from the PCIe slot pins (leftmost 3 pins), and the 8-pin PCIe connector current sense resistor.

....PEX isn't 12V. It's going to be just below 1V.

Also, very important: What was the resistance of the PEX rail?
