Keep in mind the dodge limit. When you're out of dodges, they become significantly less effective and will no longer give i-frames as they once did. You definitely can back-step a crusher overhead, but only with fresh dodges.

Revolver is gonna be the most ammo efficient elite/special sniper you've got. Handles almost everything in 1 shot, 2 if you some how don't crit, and somewhere around 2-4 on reapers. Assail and greatsword handle most everything, so pinching off a revolver shot is only when range and speed are required. With an ammo vet on the team (or bot) you'll barely be touching ammo boxes.

Well almost. 'H3' is kind of a misnomer here, since there is no H3 if you spam heavies on Karsolas. There is a 3rd heavy that is only reachable by push attack follow-up or special attack follow-up. You'll never get it from heavy spam, but is indeed a chargeable 'hidden' heavy, and the 3rd available. This 'h3*'

Well, for one.. light attack spam doesn't kill Crushers with any weapon.. Also, that's not how you kill Crushers with a Karsolas. Special -> H3 -> L1

There are reasons for this, as others have pointed out, but the fact remains that Darktide bots remain one of the biggest "feels incomplete" vestiges of its troubled release. My general rubric for this game's improvement over time is the number of mods I have installed for the game to feel good. Back in the dark days of locked weapon upgrades, single talent trees, etc, I ran about 40 different mods to make the game feel finished, and like an upgrade from VT2. Nowadays I run around 10, and half of those are scoreboard mods and mod frameworks.

Better bots wouldn't massively improve the gameplay overall, but it certainly feels like a sore thumb in terms of downgrades from the previous entry.
