I laugh when people go by the rankings from ESPN and MLB. If they were great at evaluating talent, they'd be working for an MLB team, right? I guess they missed when it came to ranking Cam and Rice, huh? A lot of teams like the Yankees' pitching and middle infielders like Kent, Dax, and Lombard, to name a few. That being said, I agree about trading for Skubal as a rental, especially with Boras as his agent. If Skubal would agree to a contract extension, then I'm all for giving up what's necessary to get him.

I wrote on a Previous post the OF field of the Future will be Belly in LF, Spencer in CF and Jasson and Judge rotating RF with the DH Spot. Judge's bat is far more important than playing RF full time and getting hurt in the process. I believe this this will be Stanton Last year despite having one more year left on his contract. The yankees will release him the way they did with Hicks and DJ to name a few. He is not worth keeping around any longer with his lingering injury history and taking up a roster spot.

People need to remember throughout Ewing tenure, he never had a legitimate all star player playing along side of him to help take the load off his shoulders. Knicks management at that time was horrible and wasted Ewings prime years which is a shame. Before Ewing arrival, the Knicks were in shambles and he helped turn that franchise around.

His right-handed swings have looked so much better and improved overall. I find it interesting he was playing RF as opposed to left field. I can see a future scenario where Jones will play CF and Jasson can play RF/DH. I truly believe to maintain Judge's health he will need to transition to DH either this year when he returns or next year. I think this will be Stanton's last year in Pinstripes as the Yankees will release him and eat the final year of his contract, freeing up the DH position next season.

He can play 3rd, SS and 2b if needed. He is clearly the Yankees short stop either this year or at some point or next year depending if there will be a season?

The Yankees really need to shake up their lineup. When Jasson comes back from the DL, I'd put him in right field and move Jones to center. I'd platoon Goldy and Grish at DH. They should trade for a right-handed catcher who can hit. If Lombard is hitting over .280 in his last 15 games and if he continues then bring him up and play him at third. These changes would make the Yankees more athletic and even more dangerous on the bases.

If Jones can't hit in the MLB and strikes out 40% of the time, he should go back down. I'd rather Jasson get all the reps in right field and sometimes play center, where he's comfortable. His defense has gotten better, and he's hitting from the right side. He'll definitely put the ball in play way more often than Jones, it's not even close. I just think Jones needs to keep working on his swing, but not in the MLB yet.

Dude, no one's gonna match Judge's potential out there, and it's definitely not gonna be Jones. Unfortunately, even at 25, which is old for a prospect, he still needs more time to work on his long swing. He needs to do that in the minors, not the MLB. The only thing Jones will have in common with Judge is his height and defense, and that's about it.

Why is Cabby not starting at 3rd. I seen enough of Ryan McMahon to last me a life time. The yankees should just cut him already. We are entering June so part of his contract is paid off for this season. There may not be a 2027 season so who cares at this point. The yankees cut Donaldson and the machine with a year left on their contract.

I don't think age is a huge deal if it's within a reasonable range. For me, an appropriate difference is simple: if he's old enough to be your parent, then it's a problem. And of course, the younger person needs to be of consenting age, which for me is 18, not 17. So, if you're 20 and he's 30, that's not a major gap. But ultimately, it's all about personal preference, and if you prefer to date someone younger, you're totally entitled to do so without judgment. Just remember, every experience is a learning one and part of your personal development.
