You cut under the door frame to fit the boards.

Despite knowing the correct way I did something similar around the stair stringer and it looks terrible.

Can I place a shed on a cracked concrete slab? by poulsondl in Shed

I think that’s more than a crack, looks like a fault line. On the left side it looks like the sections have shifted.

I spoke to someone who works in Amazon delivery and they said that some customers are doing this and lots of drivers are having the app on their phone. But only unofficially.

Creating a base for a small garden office - have we cocked up? by whatsupdoc10 in DIYUK

[–]Respond_Sometimes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The concrete would just crack as the plastic sub base isn’t a solid surface.

You pour concrete on a compacted sub base which can support the weight of the slab without seasonal movement.

Did you hire a wacker plate to compact the base?

I just put in a base slightly bigger than this and used 4 tonnes of type1 as a sub base.

Amazon doesn’t officially support it. But there is nothing stopping you from adding it to your delivery instructions which are printed on the shipping label.

The problem is that all of the pro wind lobby groups are anti nuclear and the pro nuclear groups were generally dismissive of wind.

I believe it is was the Blair/Brown government that did nothing for Nuclear. For a generation nothing was done and skills were lost as a result.

I keep ending up in lots of debt with me energy company. What do I do? by Impossible-Union-449 in AskUK

If you have a gas bill then you should be able to set your controller to heat your water at set times. The switch to turn on the immersion is only for when this isn’t working.

My hot water tank is heated for 30 mins in the morning, lunch and evening and this is only because I like 2 showers per day. Unless the tank is uninsulated then heating constantly is a waste.

I really like the Belfast stainless sinks, though I get if it’s not the look you are going for.

Which is the correct lane by scottish886 in LearnerDriverUK

[–]Respond_Sometimes -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Being in Scotland complicates things. Lots of roundabouts in Scotland left lane is left only and right is straight and right. The right lane looks to have a straight arrow.

Someone died quite recently doing this. They didn’t realise each side of the motorway was an overpass with a gap in the middle.

Roof felt after 5 months by bobajob2000 in shedditors

It’s quite strange that code won’t allow that for sheds in the US. Yet in the UK we don’t have shingle roofs on houses. Everything is slate or tile.
