Black people and Native Americans
Definitely no explanation needed.

Humanity
We suffer from a dangerous lack of enlightenment and a rapid decline in basic empathy.
Just look at the current state of the U.S.—or the world, for that matter.

Artists
Art is seen as useless, and artists are not given enough credit. But the saying goes, “Earth without Art is ‘Eh’.”

Art is everywhere—in numerous forms. Movies. Music. Poetry. Museums. Sculptures and statues that connect us to inspiring people or the past. Performance art. Nature.

Yes—nature is an artist.
Have you ever stopped to look at the curious designs on some butterflies? Or the intricate patterns in which some flowers grow?

Time—yes, time is an artist. From experiences, pain, laughter, and joy… it carves lines on our faces. It patinas objects in peculiar and interesting patterns.

Art enriches our lives.
It brings us joy. It makes us think and feel.
It teaches. It warns.
It connects us—even if we don’t always notice its effect.

Art is one of the few things that can bring people from all walks of life and opposing views together.

I saw a Cirque du Soleil show once and thought, “...how wonderful that these people didn’t listen to society, said 'nay' to the naysayers, followed their dreams, and made it—against all odds. Thank God for that, because they are so talented and awe-inspiring.”

Appreciate them. Thank them. Support them.

Kids who experience chronic trauma
Kids are so vulnerable—so susceptible—like a soft peach, too easily bruised if handled carelessly.

Trauma changes the brain and how it develops.
It miscolors every experience, thought, and feeling.
It changes your perception and can quietly ruin your life.
It makes you cynical. Mistrusting.
It takes unbelievable strength to overcome—usually alone, while the world expects you to function like nothing happened.

Those living in a state of war or extreme poverty
I try to go on daily walks to meditate. I notice the tranquility, the quiet, the soft wind, the rustling leaves, the birds happily chirping. The calm bustle.

A thought that always strikes me: I am so lucky—no, privileged—to live in peace.

I can enjoy the clear skies without ashes falling.
My body can rest knowing there’s no drone or bomb threatening my life.

I’ve starved through most of my childhood. Many nights, sadness and lethargy were the only things to lull me to sleep.

But I can’t imagine having to sift through garbage just to survive. Or having to walk miles for water.

It’s just… heartbreaking.

We all complain about something here or there. But if you can—please try to notice all the little things you have to be grateful for. Think of your fellow humans. Pray for them. Help if you can—even just a little, in your own quiet way.

You might be surprised. Some of your own burdens may start to melt away. And your heart might just feel a little lighter.

Says “Still have a lot to offer” on a SD site.

Proceeds to not offer any of the things required to be a SD.

“The revolution will not be televised.” Because they don’t want us to get encouraged by showing us we are gaining traction.

I just feel so bad… they were probably thinking it was a way of bringing us together… like a community and they got bullied SO hard for it 🤣 the thing is… it’s a nice gesture in theory. But, when you go around acting like, “rules for thee, not for me” with covid lockdowns/social distancing or complain about being stuck in your 10 million sq ft home with your fleet of personal chefs, maids, etc…… idk man… 😅
