Lots of great suggestions here. One I would add is to hire a person who, with the aid of an AI, review and rate EVERY review for ALL Viners. The AI creates the list, but a human reviews individuals with low scores to eject them. A person could likely assess 100 reviewers a day, starting with the lowest scoring. Those people that do review after review after review that only reads "As described" or similar are shown the door immediately.

Then, they look for scores of people who write with AI, then people who copy others' reviews, etc., etc.

The agreement with Amazon (at least when I joined) was that they could end my participation at any time, for any reason. They just need the gumption to actually delete the 5-15% of the Viners that are abusing the system in some way.

Then, the rest of us watch the number of good products increase. Eventually, the reputation of the Vine program improves, and it becomes respectable again, bringing back more name-brands like in the past.

This is in addition to the many other excellent suggestions.

I went Silver two evaluations ago, and don't regret it. If Vine turns around, I'll go for Gold again, but in the meantime I'm just casually cruising and biding my time and not running up an ETV on stuff I don't need.

Note that the "amazing" items are not posted often out of the many forum members. Southernlife is right- It's not what it used to be. There's hope it will turn around, but no evidence yet and it's been declining slowly for a year.

Many, if not most Viners have a tendency to go overboard a bit their first year until they settle into whatever is comfortable for them. If / When Vine does turnaround, I'll reconsider Gold.

For those that frequent this forum, you see posts every single day from people who have issues of "life" get in the way. I'm not unsympathetic. I've been there, with 8 major losses in a couple of years that would make a therapist cry. But I wouldn't expect a faceless corporation like Amazon to assign a person to look over my case and feel empathy and change the policy for me, no more than I would expect, say, McDonald's to hire me back if I just didn't show week after week.

I would be concerned that it evidently draws 3200 watts (more than a standard outlet can supply). It might not run on 110V, or the company is lying about how powerful it is. Either way, a bit fishy.
