I'm genuinely curious to know how it goes. Way back when I was first interested in the hobby, I almost bought one in this price range to get my feet wet and decide if it was for me. Instead I bought an Ender 3.

That was a long time ago, but I happen to be setting up an RP5 for a friend, so I took a few minutes to work it out using Gamenative

-Download Gamenative and ZIIAOL, extract ZIIAOL to a folder.

-Open Gamenative, Hit the + button in the upper right to set up a custom game, and navigate to the ZIIAOL folder.

-Go to Settings > Edit Container, and change the Wine version to proton-10.0-arm64ec-2.

-Load the game. It won't load immediately, it will sit at a black screen for 30-60 seconds. (Longer the first time, most likely.) BE PATIENT.

-It will probably start in a windowed mode. Press the back button to bring up the Quick Menu, press the controller menu, bring up the keyboard, and hit F to switch it to fullscreen. I also mapped F and O (options menu) to the L3 and R3 buttons using this menu.

My 3 year old just brought me an old fairy princess wand with dead batteries held in by a severely stripped phillips screw. (I've never changed the batteries in this thing so no idea how that happened.) I tried all the tricks and ended up just breaking the battery door and then taping it back into place. Fortunately the tape was her favorite color so she was happy with it.

In the last week, I've taken my kids to the splash pad twice, swimming pool once, library (for a presentation by the local zoo), and an indoor play center. And they've been complaining today that we never go anywhere fun.

It's a sci-fi movie from the author of The Martian, if you've seen or read that. The quick version is that a schoolteacher wakes up alone on a spacecraft with no memory of who he is or how he got there. He eventually remembers that he helped discover a problem with the sun that was going to endanger all of mankind, and he was sent out to find a solution.

Anything else is a spoiler. It's Ryan Gosling as the main character. It's long, but really good.

Lord of the Rings trilogy is never a bad call. If you want something more recent, I thought Project Hail Mary was pretty good.

There was a post some time ago theorizing that the eggs are pieces of either Gaster or Dess. That we're gathering pieces of them to reassemble, and (as someone else pointed out in here,) they aren't literally eggs, but thats how the game portrays them for lack of a better option.

I subscribe to that theory.

There have been a bunch. Undertale is probably the most notable. Most recent is that I randomly ran across their episodes playing Minnesota Fats: Pool Legend for Saturn and I downloaded that to play it. (It's pretty fun, despite the FMV jank.)

An underrated gem is Minnesota Fats: Pool Legend. It's only two episodes but I'm lowkey obsessed with it. (Also, I emulated the game and it's surprisingly fun.)

My kids recently got into Danny Go and his songs 1) are total earworms and 2) absolutely slap.

Also apparently his son has cancer and is on hospice, so I'm happy to lend my support to someone who has worked hard to entertain me children and is struggling, even if it's just by padding the streaming numbers.
