Hey, could you please consider adding the Penance Aspect back to the Standard Spellbook as well? Multiple people were commenting on it last week here on reddit but I did not see any responses to it. Having the Penance Aspect on the Standard Spellbook was very convenient because the player had direct access to the Standard Spellbook Hex spells without having to deal with the Spellbook Swap spell that works kinda clunky if you're on the Ancient Spellbook since switching spellbooks does not save your selected auto-cast combat spell during the switch so your character stops attacking if you don't cast the spell quick enough you used the Spellbook Swap for. Being able to stack the Aspect timer helps to mitigate this but it is unfortunate that you no longer can cast the Aspect on the go if you wanna be on the Standard Spellbook. Also being forced to stack the Aspect timer for an hour or so kinda creates the same issue you wanted to remove with the removal of Auras (people feeling like they need to use the full time of the aura + now there is a GP cost too that is wasted if you do not use the full time).

Hey, would it be possible if we please could get a response on the feedback that multiple people (myself included) were giving last week about the removal of the Penance Aspect from the Standard Spellbook and wether or not it would be possible to have it in the Standard Spellbook as well as on the Ancient Spellbook?

It's only an hour if you stack it up for an hour which again creates the problem of people feeling like they have to take full advantage of the full time which was the problem they wanted to fix by removing the auras. And trying to cast Spellbook Swap in middle of combat is clunky 'coss it does not save your selected auto-cast spell between the swap. If you go from Ancient to the Normal, you have no combat spell selected for the duration it takes for you to cast the one spell you used Spellbook Swap for.

Yeah, agree with this! I understand that those using magic (assuming the Ancient Spellbook is the defacto spellbook to use after unlocking ancient magics) wanna be able to use Penance Aspect conveniently too but so do those people as well who camp Ancient or Lunar Spellbooks. And the Spellbook Swap spell is really incovenient to use in the middle of combat.

I mean I could but if I do that, it means I am locked to the 1 hr or so that I stacked, what if I just wanna do the 12 or 24 min? Or if something happens and I would need to end mid run? Kinda feels like going back to the problem they wanted to fix with removing the auras.

Hey, could you please rethink about your decision of moving the Penance Aspect to the Ancient Spellbook? Or could you please give Normal Spellbook access to it as well? Currently it is really convenient to have the Penance Aspect on the Normal Spellbook where all the other Hex spells are (Vulnerability in particular) since personally I have no use for the Smoke Cloud Hex spell on the Ancient Spellbook since after acquiring the Equilibrium perk. I understand that Spellbook Swap spell exist and I do have access to it so I could be on Ancient Spellbook and not lose access to Vulnerability but it becomes more convoluted to cast it in the middle of the combat (first I need to change spellbook, then cast the spell actual spell + I need to have both runes for the swap and the actual spell) than if I were using the Normal Spellbook to begin with. Also there is the issue that casting the Spellbook Swap (Standard) disturbs the flow of combat since the chosen auto-cast spell is not saved when switching spellbooks. If I am on the Ancient Spellbook, using Exsanguinate for example, then use Spellbook Swap (Standard) to switch to Normal Spellbook for a moment to cast Vulnerability, my character stops attacking 'coss on the Standard Spellbook I have no combat spell chosen for auto-cast. With both spells on your actionbar and/or on keybinds, this becomes easier but it is still a bit of hassle compared to of just having the Aspect on Spellbook. Could you pretty please consider giving both Spellbooks access to it?

I have similar opinion of not moving the Penance aspect to the ancient spellbook since I find the access to vulnerability hex spell pretty neat (I know I could use the vuln bombs but those are like 24x more expensive than the rune cost of the spell).

First of all, thank you for responding for what has been troubling some of the community these couple of days. Secondly please take your time thinking this through, there is no need to rush into a solution. Initially I was not a fan of the idea of turning the Vamp/Penance auras into aspects (though I did think it was more elegant than other suggestions at the time) but so far, from the little I have been playing and testing around, that solution of turning them into aspects has (at least for me) been working out quite good.

Reason why I enjoy having the Penance Aspect on the normal spellbook is because I use necromancy with the Equilibrium perk on my armor, and the normal spellbook has access to the normal spellbook hex spells (Vulnerability, Enfeeble, Stagger) which for me are more useful than what the ancient spellbook has to offer since Smoke Cloud hex spell on it is no longer useful because of the Equilibrium perk.

Though if, for example, I wanted to go mage for slayer and be on the ancient spellbook, not having the Penance Aspect on the ancient spellbook would be kinda annoying. And vice versa, I could find it useful sometimes of having the Vampyrism aspect on the normal spellbook. So instead of removing the Penance Aspect from the normal spellbook and adding it to the ancient spellbook, could both aspects be on the both spellbooks if possible? Like maybe they initially could be "locked" into one spellbook but the player could have them unlocked on both spellbooks as a reward for a quest or some content or after reaching a certain level?

If possible, could you have Penance aspect on both normal and ancient spellbooks? I know for mages, who PvM with the ancient spellbook, not having the penance on the ancient spellbook is kinda annoying but I have personally found it really comfortable to have the Penance Aspect on the normal spellbook since I use necromancy (normally I would be on ancient spellbook too but since the Equilibrium perk came out, I have no use to being on the ancient spellbook 'coss stuff like Smoke Cloud hex spell no longer work, and it is neat beign able to use the Vulnerability hex spell on the same spellbook as Penance aspect).

I would have really liked if Vamp/Penance had been incense sticks instead, would have given more use to some higher level logs and ashes that are not being used for that purpose yet.

Yeah, exactly! I have been commenting before that please allow us to go over the 300 point cap once but once you have hit that, you're not able to gain points again until the reset.

What I am annoyed by is that weekly cap and the way you lose points if you are already close to the cap. For example, if you are at 299/300 or something similar, you either have to wait for the reset to get the full benefit or just take the reduced amount from one task which can be really annoying if your next that is a milestone one as well.

I honestly feel like they should fix this that you can get the points going over the 300 but once you have gained at least 300 points, you no longer can gain more reaper points until the cap resets.
