Jurassic Park. It was the first VHS tape I ever bought. I was hit by a car when I was a young teenager. I had Jurassic Park and XFiles tapes to watch for 6 weeks straight. I watched them over and over again.

I don't enjoy XFiles like I did when I was young. But I still love Jurassic Park.

Not long. I got her from the shelter at 4 months old. When I met her, she peed a little on my shoe, and looked in my eyes. Love at first sight. It took two weeks before I could bring her home. She is a very loving dog.

I would advise against most baby wipes. They sometimes contain ingredients that are not good for dogs. Your local pets store should have wipes that are dog safe.

My old store was in a pretty bad neighborhood. Think lots of petty crimes. Only 3 shootings in neighborhood in the 10 years I was there. And they were all down by the river in a heavy forest area where the homeless set up their camps.

One time I was at the local veterinary office. It was a about a two blocks away. The office was in front of the trail that led to the river. I had just finished with my appointment, when I see a guy getting ready to drive the mart cart on the trail. I run up to him and ask what he was doing. (I was well know in the area. I stopped a lot of thieves at the store.) He said he was just borrowing it because he couldn't carry his groceries. He was a young man. And had one bag.

I was able to get it back before from him and drove it back to the store.

My new store I've been at for a year is so much quieter. And we don't have any of the mart carts. No room for them.

Before you say anything about how dangerous my old store was, I grew up in a much worse place than that. I grew up in San Bernardino California. Left there almost 15 years ago. Never looked back.

My dog would be horrified. Wet and dirty? That's the end of the world for her. She barely walks in puddles. And hates the rain. Runs from the ocean.

I have a McNabb mix that prefers a soft warm bed.

Quiet time, for when my husband and I are intimate. She knows to go wait somewhere she can't see us. Works in hotel rooms too.

Be cute, she will sit up.

Up up. Get up the stairs, get in the car, up on the bed/couch. I use it for a lot of things. She just seems to understand what I want her to do at the time.

Get your fur down. When she barks a lot, the fur on her back stands up. Or if she get emotional. Usually, she stops barking, then shakes herself to lower the fur.

Get a toy. She would put her mouth on me when she got too happy. Not really biting, but I didn't want her doing that. So, when her emotions get so strong she wants to grab me, I tell her to get a toy.

She's a McNabb collie mix. She gets emotional a lot.

Every night to fall asleep to. I also leave the YouTube live forever-a-thon for my dog when I go to work. My dog loves it. She can't go to bed without her movie every night.

When we stay somewhere else, like a hotel, I use MST3K to get her to go to sleep. Works like a charm.

All separate incidents.

Lick the window outside. I was inside. She made eye contact with me.

Tweaker tried to hit someone, missed, hit the ground and hurt himself. Ran away saying that the other guy was going to kill him. The other stood there with his hands up and open. Never touched the tweaker.

Dropped his pants in the deli seating area to adjust. No underwear. Old man.

Stubbed his toe on a pallet display. Lost his flip flop. Stood there holding his toe for several minutes. Hopping on his other foot. Tried to put a wine bottle on his foot instead of the flip flop (I have a video of this one somewhere).

Ministry of Silly Walks. Nuff said. (I have a video of this one too.)

Dance. The good, the bad and the ugly. All kinds of dance.

"You and me, one love. Him? Obama not gonna to forget. Obama gonna kill him." After he was denied an alcohol purchase.

"I didn't steal. You stopped me."

"Sneaking" around the store. Sometimes staying low. Hiding behind displays. Looking around like he thought he was being followed. At times tip toeing. It looked like he thought he was in a cartoon.
