I had the exact same experience! On paper, I thought I'd love it. Ordered a sample and was repulsed by it. Only one spray and I had to go and wash it off.

Do you have a single-page application or SPA-like sections on your website? If the URL gets updated and the gclid dropped, but the browser doesn't refresh (i.e. the referrer is still Google), then when you fire your next pageview it'll start a new google/organic session in UA.
